the ones in america (generally) are the manufactured ones and thus not the genuine and hand-made ones and taste too processed

however the ones made in Japan are insanely good

battered octopus balls with dry fish flakes topped with takoyaki sauce and sometimes a little bit of mayo

the taste is SEX.

the guy cooking the food was japanese and I saw him making real Takoyaki even with the takoyaki grill

@thekevinrodrigues some advice..dont order that grill they're using. use an aebleskiver pan. youll be surprised it works pretty good. you can get them aebleskiver pans at target or online which is waay cheaper than a takoyaki grill...

Remember, only try Takoyaki is Osaka. They have the best ones ever. Other cities make them pretty bad unless you know where to go. Also, get the small ones, the bigger ones are kinda nasty. Like they say, Kyoto people become broke by buying too much clothes, Osaka people get broke by buying too much food, because Osaka food is the best in Japan (in my opinion).

i had takoyaki be4 and it was ok, it was crispy on the outside hmmm but then like really soft at the inside (its like a half way cooked pancake)and only a small piece of octopus but the sauce is good!

you can buy the microwave ones.they arent as crispy and fluffy as the real ones but they make a good snack. :)
