Eugenia - I too just started grad school, am sleeping on a mattress on the floor, and am struggling with having been torn from the cocoon of repose that was my parent's house! You know, I think that it's an inherent part of the human condition that we simultaneously feel compelled (almost mandated) to be around others, and yet every social interaction with an unfamiliar person is a tragedy of awkwardness and anxiety. If you didn't feel that way, you'd have to be some kind of sociopath, right?!?

Most people on Youtube try to be funny and use weird jump cuts and other types of flashy editing and dumb comedy. it's refreshing to see somebody actually talking about their life and reality. By the way, congrats on Grad school.
I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one who gets more hungry after eating an apple. For me, eating fruit does not appease hunger. It's surprising to hear that you feel lonely sometimes...because you seem like a very likable person who everyone with a brain would want to be friends with. It would be so great to be friends with you.
