I have the exact same lighter as you... albeit, not EXACTLY the same given that there are multiple ones manufactured... but you know what I mean.

haha, yea, ive lost 2 already!!
anyways, i never got burned with this trick, the only "bad" part to it is that you might feel a bit of pain for the ignition motion on the shouler cuz your might press to much an it will scratch your shoulder.
