I'm thirteen, I have no idea what polarizing means, what the different filters do, the definition of Depth of Field " DOF" I have no idea anything is about this. I want to be a pro photographer but I don't know what anything means!!!! I don't know what aperture is, what different lenses will do!!! Please help. Is there like a photographers dictionary???
Good question, at the end that picture of a water cresset was taken with the flash rig. Now for one it took me forever to finally figure out how to get it work properly and I suppose this should have put this in the tutorial but it was getting to long and now I guess people can read it hear. For starters you have to create a time delay, to do this you have to first get a variable resistor and a fairly large 200+ uf capacitor.
Put these in series in-between the one of the output wires from the recorder to the trasitor that way the capacitor first has to fully charge before allowing the flash to occur and variable resistor will slow this rate of charge thus making a simple time delay that works in 1/1000 of second range. Now of course you cant have too much resistance especially when dealing the cerpluk of water because the sound wont trigger then SCR.
As for how to do it you have to set the recorder as close as you can to a glass of water thats filled to the brim with water, next get straw and put a tiny amount of water in it then capping the top with your thumb so the water wont come back out. Then once every thing is ready release the water droplet from a good height of 2 or 3 feet from the glass so it makes a good sound and you should have your picture.
- To really do the time delay right it would be best to get a second transistor and have it so the sound triggers that one allowing voltage to flow, from another battery or such, into the variable resistor and then the capacitor which then in turn sets of the SCR which then triggers the flash, that way you can have time delay without diminishing the signal strength.

Hi my name is Wesley and i love your tutorial, i just have one question. Will it be able to capture the sound of water drops?
If not how do i do it? I having a hard time trying to get the water drops in the picture. Thanks

Side notes:
- You may not need a time delay depending upon how fast the flash is
- You can also create a time delay by moving the recorder away from the glass each foot adding a 1/1000 of a second delay.

they only give you like 229 volts to run your house!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and like more than 300 in that cam?!!?!?!?!!
thats a sh*t load of VOLTS!
you could kill your self in one wrong move!!
haha good vid btw 5/5

No, the camera may hold 300V however very little current, so although you may hurt yourself when getting shocked, there is no risk of fatality.

Yea tommy told me you can make tasers with those things
