This may have been a training fire. But still scary. Ive been lucky to only see 1 house burn down we were driving past it about a block away roof was still up. on the way back the roof had collapsed. I later found out that a dog had been trapped inside and died. I cried. I was only 13 or so.

it has no sense to do anything with a burning wooden house, because the owner will have to rebuilt the whole building from the basement in any cases. Unless it is not a house made from brick, you cannot save the building.

actually, yes in some cases a wood house can be saved, and not every house has a basement. it is referred to as a FOUNDATION. And most of the time, if it's a severe burning, a brick house can't be saved, and they demolish it.

lol this was a training fire we did. the house was a 110 years old. the roof was made out of 6 by 6 logs and the decking was 1 1/2 inch boards
