  • how do u put nitro on a rc car

  • We're did u get that hood scup I want to put one on my mgt 8.0

  • Nice setup playa I just got a RS4-3 Drift and planned on doing some similar mods....

  • what's those little tanks near the shock's?

  • Cooler fuel= Dense fuel = more to burn = better performance... Same goes with the air. Also you should have made that hood scoop attach to the air filter for forced induction instead.

  • I don't think there is a performance advantage if you use a fuel cooler. I'd rather let more air to flow thru my engines heat sink, otherwise, this "thing" is only BS.

  • @BlazingMods, make sure the fuel filter is flowing in the correct direction. Some fuel filters have draw and feed side. Check for an arrow on the filter.

  • do the fuel coolers actually do anything?

  • That ride is preetysweet angel good work ....Question how long does it take you to remodel a rc Car XPP.s That bonnet looks sweet very creative

  • CHECK OUT MY FUEL COOLER HAND MADE TELL WHAT YOU THINK

  • where do u get your mods from ive just purchased a rs4 and im looking to upgrade it

  • do the coolers realy work

  • yea where did you get it?

  • where did you get that fuel cooler

  • nice i have this same car and im planing to do the samething like u thanksssss

  • I like what you did with the fuel line but I couldnt see how you connect it. I also couldnt find the air filter

  • nice vid but i got a fuel cooler and a fuel filter and my 1/10 scale truck isnt idleing or driving any suggestions?

  • so it wont damage the heat sync if paint it

  • not trying to bust your bubble or anything angelizquier1, but that line that goes to your tank does not heat your fuel. thats exhaust smoke that just builds up.

  • Yes, exactly. Its "HOT" exhaust smoke that does warm up the fuel. Before I installed this fuel cooler which I now have in over 6 nitro cars, I tested the temperature of the fuel before it enters the engine and they were cooler with the fuel cooler on.

  • @angelizquier1 yeah but exhaust smoke is not hot hot, but i see what your saying. even the slightest temperture change can affect it

  • Hi, first of all, Loving the colour scheme and custom mods on the body, that bonnet scoop looks sick and actually works, very creative :D And about the fuel cooler, would it be logical to run two on the car? (one for the back pressure line and one for the main fuel line to the engine carb) Would this give you even longer run times and even cooler average running temps for the engine than one cooler? Thanks, and V nice vid :)

  • Thanks for your comment. Yes, since the time I made this video I have also added a fuel cooler in the exhaust pressure line. Just make sure it will get good air flow or it wont serve its purpose.

  • you mentioned that you've painted the heat sink purple, have you gotten any problems with the paint melting under a lot of use? and what paint did you use?

  • Fist I recommend that you lightly sand down the heat sink and wash it with soap and hot water. The paint I used was for use on car engine parts that reach temps of up to 500 degrees F. I forgot the brand but I found it at auto zone. The heat sink only has minor scratches due to me flipping the car but other than that the paint has held.

  • have you tried putting your fuel in the frig?

  • At front is that a fuel cooler for a monster truck? And what brand is it?

  • yo

how did you make your hood on the toyota soarer body black or carbon fiber?

    thanks

  • Its a custom hood scoop made of transparent plastic and covered with carbon fiber decal.

  • in my opinion if fuel line is longer, engine respone is slower.

  • This isnt true because no matter the length of the fuel line, the pressure at the fuel tank will remain the same. The engine response is controled by the low speed and high speed needles.

  • @angelizquier1 ah!! thanks for your advice. and i have some plan about cooling. that's install cooling pan. i'll use 2pan to cool engine, tuned pipe. but i don't know if i cool tuned pipe, is that effective??

  • There are many ways out there to keep your nitro engine running cooler such as fuel coolers, aluminum heat sinks and bigger air filters but you can always just run a richer setting. Cooling the tuned pipe wouldnt be effective at all because youre trying to cool the air thats exiting the engine. Thats pointless.

  • Comment removed

  • i agree the after is way much nicer. good work.

  • its probaby been mentioned here before but why dont you fit more than just one both fromt he exhasut gases and just befoe the carb. fit as many as possible?

  • Its possible to fit as many as you like and since the time i made this video, I also placed one between the tank and the exhaust. I think two is more than enough. The one in the rear by the exhaust does not get anywhere near as much ventilation as the front mounted one though.

  • @angelizquier1 ah you see great minds think alike :P

i currently heat my fuel on my pug 306 and add water meth mist with an ultrasonic humidifier.

may i suggest using thin copper tubing (copper fuel or brake line) as copper radiates heat upto 4 times more efficiently than aluminium.

  • the exhaust is stock but the muffler is from the tuner kit.

  • add me on PSN PLAN_B_-_ ur vids are the best ive seen :) u help me out alot

  • and ive bought a vertex rc nitro drift car but its red not orange i weant the orange cover where do i get this ? it looks so cool

  • I dont know man I cant answer every question there is about rc cars.

  • how do you remove the decals ?

  • Mine just came right off with a blow drier.

  • nice job

  • I fuckin love your vids lol... when u gonna drive that thing :P

  • Thanks man I love my vids too lolz! im just waiting to get my drift tires to make a video of me using the car and oh yeah I ran out of freakin nitro fuel.

  • yeah its a bitch when that happens haha.

Lookin forward to seeing it and thanks again... your vids have made a couple of HPI sales thats for sure, they ought to start payin you commission :P

  • well done...where did you get the purple fuel lines from

  • what and how did u cut the open windows on ur car. it looks good

  • I just simply used a hobby knife and cut thru the body.

  • i like everything you have done to it

  • cool car and video
