This is the "official" version from the book.

He is playing the notes that are on the sheet, it's the same one that I play, he may be adding to it, which most players do so that may be where it's not matching with what you have.

You might want to go on the site where latinoguy put in his comment, its a .rar file with a bunch of final fantasy songs. It sounds a lot better than the ultimate guitar tabs.

You can find the tabs on ultimate-guitar * com, just search for "eyes on me". You need Guitar pro for the full version. If you don't have guitar pro, you can still get at pure vocals version.
