@nirvash241 Actually it's been announced that it'll be a sequel. The anime adaption will be shown April 2012, but the manga for Eureka SeveN: AO is actually coming out in less than 2 days (January 26).

I'm willing to bet that it'll be like a Renton + Eureka type relationship between the 2 main characters. Hopefully they'll stay true to the original story, and have Naoki Satō come back to do most of the music! :)

Please this anime is the best because it shows a possible future (Naruto & Bleach rule but are unrealistic). It also deals with all problems in society like that disease that they stare at a compac drive. Racism with Coralians, media, love, emotion and family, dealing with death (Ray and Charles). Holland's jealousy towards Eureka liking Renton, Eureka and being a mom, Renton realising he's a murdered, etc. This anime is pretty adult but awesome. Deals with real-life issues many face everyday.

This anime was made 30 years ago called Super Dimension Fortress Macross. Not only is this third intro ripped from ep2. The entire series is a remake of SDF Macross. Eureka is actually Maxwell, a genius pilot who marries a alien. Starting to sound familiar? All mechas are remakes of the first Gumdam and Macross. However you can go back more then 30 years now and see what inspired Gundam and Macross, just as Macross did the same with Robotech. It goes deeper, but that is another thread I guess..

I really wanted to like Eureka 7. I truly and honestly did. But that series bored me half to death. What bored me about it you may ask? Well, its god-awful pacing. FREAKING 20+ EPISODES BEFORE IT GOT ANYWHERE! WHAT THE HELL!? Its also the same reason I disliked Samurai Champloo. I can understand character development, but 20+ episodes to focus on that is complete overkill for any kind of series.

Thanks captain obvious, does it honestly matter? The quality of an anime is not based on how strong your robot is, the Demonbane robots would destroy Gurren Lagann so I've heard, but it isn't as great in storytelling. Gurren Lagann and Eureka Seven are both masterpieces of anime, it doesn't matter which mecha is stronger.
