  • Thanks for sharing... I have those often. :c

  • props for sharing this man, i have asthma too and i almost died 11 years ago from an asthma attack but by the grace of God i survived and thank God it didn't get worse and that ur still here

  • My mums just been admitted to the hospital with exactly everything you've just said, except she's still there (keeping her overnight) and it started at 11:00am this morning, it's now 10:30pm just left her at the hospital still exactly the same, pain, can't get any air, medication not working, moaning every time she inhales and exhales. It's so scary and so hard to helplessly watch this happen, I'd hate to experience it. This is the first time this has happened to her and first time I've ever se

  • @sparklesTHEDAMNpony That sounds absolutely frightening, i hope your mothers condition improves, it sounds bizarre for her to suddenly have an asthma attack with no history of it, ensure she checks herself out.

  • Thank you for sharing ur story my five year old has asthma and I have watched many of her attacks and it is scary for me to. I have seen her gasp for air and ask for help before rushing her to the ER. It is a very scary condition. Glad that u are ok.

  • Dang that would be scary I agree

  • i want to know if i have asthma do u have asthma if u always feel like there is something in ur throat and cough alot at night

  • @bhanskate Hello, make sure you see a doctor to get diagnosed or not. Your symptoms sound NOT like asthma. Asthma is the feeling of shortness of breath, weezing, sometimes coughing. Tightness of muscles due to lack of breathing, slight panic (which increases) usually coming from bad environments (pollution) or exercise, or sometimes but rarely randomly.

  • @ramio1983 oh and i do make like wierd kinda like a bad whistle noise.

  • @bhanskate Actually, you do have a symptom of Asthma. The coughing at night is very characteristic. Sometimes, people don't show all of the symptoms like wheezing or shortness of breath, but you could still have it. Go to your doctor, and they'll run some tests. :3

  • u poor thing glad u are okay, my asthma has suddenly got really scary but im not sure if its cause nz has been freezing never had asthma like this bad in my life

  • The Buteyko Method treats and reverses the root cause of asthma, which is a low level of carbon dioxide in the lungs. This technique is safe for all ages and has no side effects, it is a drug free breathing method and lifestyle. Buteyko Center USA teaches students how to apply the Buteyko Method and is now offering a free download of the Asthma Cure Manual until the end of August, 2011. • @luvlycara12 Yeah at Minimum, Asthma is an annoyance. At maximum Asthma is a life threatening condition. Be well.

  • God bless you, my friend.

  • Awww poor thing! *gives you a virtual hug*

  • @jawadbani Thanks so much, be well and keep an eye on it always :-)

  • is it the asthma that was making you cough?

  • @loupremo Yeah Asthma does make you cough, but in my case my asthma was simply severe lack of breath with barely any coughing.

  • @ramio1983 don't let it hold you bakc my friend. I didint let it hold me back from the Marines. but it was hard to get a waviro for it!

  • iv had to call an ambulance for my asthma attack its scary thing struggling to breathe . suffocating slowly

  • @ajpaton505 Worst feeling in the world, be strong.

  • I was just recently diagnosed with asthma although I've had symptoms for years. My first severe asthma attack my friend called an ambulance for me and the EMTs were really rude to me. They said everything was normal that they tested yet I couldn't breath at all. They weren't any better when I got to the hospital. Most of the doctors were rude and they ekpt me there for an hour then sent me home although I still couldn't breathe. It's good they were so nice to you.

  • @ElvenLovePro That is bizarre why would they ignore something as serious as Asthma?

  • ... Such relief. Each day I thank God for being alive. Hope ur asthma is under control and u have an updated asthma plan. :)

  • I have had asthma since a baby. Nearly died twice in my teen years. All I can say is never feel like it's a bad thing to do calling the hospital. Exactly what Ramey said, If your not getting relief from your nebuliser then it's time to dial the ambulance. And if your on your own that should be one of the first things you think of doing. Remain calm because yes, the heart Racing does change your breathing you Must remain calm. The feeling of relief when you put on your nebuliser is a feeling of

  • may God help u get a good long comfurtable life

  • you are a good guy you don't deserve to die ;( i have asthma too . . .

  • ITS NOT EVEN SCARY!

  • what a perseverance you got there! my asthma attack last for a week and coughing for 2 weeks (if it's worst).

  • @ramio1983 omg i know! I had one not to long ago but I'm fine now I'm glad u r too!

  • @ultreality I know I have experienced that a a few weeks ago it IS scary!! Sorry about yr asthma :( get well soon :/

  • The same happened to me in 2003, and I actually did stop breathing in the ambulance and was "dead" for a time. Obviously the hospital brought me back, butit is not an experience you ever forget. The doctors all said another 2 minutes and I would not have made it. It was the quick actions of my young children that saved my life and of course the exceptional medical services.

Asthma can be life threatening and those close to you should no what to do.

Thank you for sharing this on Youtube.

  • @ultreality were you intubated? that happened to me too, i passed out and woke up at the hospital with tubes and some life monitors.. i knew i'm done for when I closed my eyes.

  • @pauloperez21

For a time, then oxygen mask with pure oxygen in conjunction with an IV drip of Aminophylline and another IV - not sure what that was. Also had oxygen monitor clip on a finger and other monitors. When I crashed back in to my body and came around I remember the doctors saying that my oxygen level was very low and was acutely hypoxic. The doctors and consultant told me that another 2 minutes and I would not have made it.

  • I feel your pain man. I had one not to long ago, you said you were a little high tho? Do u mean off marijuana? Or just all the medicine? Not to be intrusive but I believe marijuana has helped my asthma significantly. But regardless, during an attack, I think doctors should perscribe more asthmatics stuff like valuim to calm you down during an attack because its impossible to calm down yourself. Its saved me numorous times!

  • i dont have asthma is it really THAT scary???

  • @thechaz29370 Having an Asthma attack is THAT scary- yep!!

  • @ramio1983 glad you're OK now :)

  • @ramio1983 i know i have asthma :(

  • @thechaz29370

When you are having an attack are certain you are going to die, slowly and there is nothing you can do about it - yes it is scary. I know, I have been there.

  • @thechaz29370 completely. ive had it my whole life. horrid.

  • ive just had one this week, twice in one day, had to go hospital, still recovering. asthma sucks! especially having it since i was born so i know there is a chance i will never get rid of it

  • I also had severe asthma that put me into full cardiac and respiratory arrest before the paramedics arrived. Severe asthma is curable and I many of the medical journal articles from researchers around the world posted on the asthmastory site. Research that links severe asthma to the bacteria chlamydia pneumoniae and how to kill the bacteria which is also a possible cause of other major medical issues.

  • I'm glad you feel better dude !

  • @honeyhotsauce Wow, its terrible isn't it? It sounds bad but it helps that other people share in similar experiences, it creates awareness and strengthens us especially to take action- our health is the most important thing.

  • Hope you're doing okay now. I suffered much severe last sunday. I actually died for a couple of minutes. All my medication didn't work. So, my farther and wife call for help and when I was in the vehicle 5% of oxygen is all I'm breathing and I know for my self that I won't make it to the hospital. So, I told my wife to take care of my daughter and my mother and father. And all was black. I gasp my last breath at the emergency room then I went violet and stop moving and stop breathing.

  • take ur advair!!!! everyday

  • Just had an asthma attack last night, paramedics were called, they rushed me to the hospital it sucks , I know. they discharged me in the morning, still feel crappy.

Hope you get well and stay well =)

  • @soldierofallah1000 Thanks cuz, love ya back, im slowly recovering, VERY high on meds.

  • hope you get well soon, i know how scary a severe attack can be ive had a fair few (and im 2 months from turning 15) you were pretty lucky to get out of the hospotal in 6 hours though the last one i had i stayed for 27 hours i think, and i didnt eat or drink anything for like 2 days. but thankfully i have bever had to call an ambulance...yet. just keep fighting dont give and pray for a cure :)

  • @musicfreak556 Wow you've had it tough. Yeh its hard to live with, but you hope as an adult it kinda goes away, hopefully your grow out of yours, stay healthy.

  • @ramio1983 hmmm i hope i grow out of it but im highly doubting it cuz i used to only have it mild to moderate when i was a kid but its gotten so much worse since i tured 12 and it just keeps getting worse, they have to keep uping my preventers and stuff.. but i havent had an attack in like a month so im really happy till one hits again then it goes down hill for like 2 months then up again :)

  • @ramio1983

I do have an asthma attack but not as strong as you. At least I didn't die :)

  • I'm so glad you're ok and that the paramedics were able to get to you in time! Your voice sounds a little different... almost as if you have a cold. Anyways, take care of yourself, and hopefully you'll never have a severe reaction like that again!

  • Wishing you wonderful health!!!!!!!!

Wondering if you might benefit from a raw food diet???

DId you ever look into it?

I'm not sure and am not suggesting that you do it because I have not looked into it as far as asthma is concerned, but I do know it is beneficial in curing/helping many ailments.

  • I've had asthma attacks like that too, they really scare the living daylights out of ya! Glad to hear you're all right! InshAllah you won't have any more like that.

    Take care! :)
