MOrriosn was all about breaking new ground in Music (hence the pump up Moog's in their rock n roll!!), this is wicked and Ive loved this remix for a long time now. He'd definitely be grooving on the dance floor to this track!

The keyboardest took care of the bass as well as the organ. In this video it shows the olny guitarist playing bass. The olny bass the guitarist did was in Alabama Song. The keybordest and the guitarist played bass in that song because it had a very solom beat to it.

Well, this is both right and wrong. Ray was responsible for a lot of the bottom end, but the Doors also used a number of bass guitar players on their albums. In this particular case, the fantastic, rock-solid bass is provided by Ray Neapolitan. There is just no way the first generation of synth basses could produce realistic, fat, moist bass sounds like this. Not even the Fender Rhodes - and certainly not the Vox. Believe me, I own both.

Not true- Ray manzarek played the bass line. You can clearly hear the base line. In the book "No One Hear Gets Out Alive" Ray says as much- also look up "The Doors" in wikipedia and it will explain that as well- he played the organ and played the bass line with it at same time.
