Cant believe I put a thumbs down on my favorite Doors song... I wanna curl up in2 a hole & die because of this remix... I dont think James Douglas would have liked ta have his master pieces mixed like this... Just sayin... But props on tryin 2 put ur own spin on an already amazing song!
MOrriosn was all about breaking new ground in Music (hence the pump up Moog's in their rock n roll!!), this is wicked and Ive loved this remix for a long time now. He'd definitely be grooving on the dance floor to this track!
And just for the record.....any manufactured "pop culture flash in the pan" band don't have a hope in hell for longevity like a proper talented band. There's no way the Jonas brothers will last 40 or 50 years in sub culture memory. Come and see me when U get a music taste..
Music is alive, music is living, growing, evolving...always. Jim wrote an amazing song. He would be stoked that folks are STILL grooving to it, in EVERY form. He was a bigger light than what some of you give him credit for. The bass line for Peace Frog is one of the funkiest to ever come out of Rock & Roll. It was made for shaking your ass! Lighten up, don't put words in the dead icon's mouth. He would love this...

its a good remix, but next time dont do the doors, your ruining songs that are great an by a famous band who i love and its making them sound like shit,
Also, talking of spirituality... The sixties were the pinnacle of spirituality in the western culture and there is nothing wrong with idolizing a front man of those times.
Maybe in America, for the rest of the West try the 13th century. There was this guy Francis of Assisi, sort of a Chistian Buddist. Thomas Aquinas his contemporary is worth looking into.
The author of this is pretty ignorant, man. I'm sorry you think Jim Morrison was just some drug addict... Maybe you need to think of what people are going to say beforehand. You know there is gonna be a lot of negative comments. I don't really understand it's almost if you are waiting for negative comments and want to start a fight. I'm not saying this is bad, I just don't like how you stooped to others levels by disrespecting a musician that many adore and listen to.
wat is so bad about this mix it sounds badass to me. remember ppl its a remix! donkeyman u did a good job all these ppl jus wanna ride nuts htats all!
Music is what each person makes it. It is what each person feels. To me this feels like a dance song, I dont care what it feels like to you. I have come to realize that many of you doors lovers are just simple minded, narrow headed, rednecks who have no other spiritual being to look up to but some dead drug addict. Chill out already.

Morrision was a better poet than singer. His poetry is some of the best ive ever heard better then most classical poets. His music is basically poetry in music. Listen to most it and you'll see that alot of his songs were his poems he wrote just in song form.
Thanks for a well done mix, Bluedonkeyman! It makes me think a little bit of Beck. I've always loved this track, the scratchy-funk guitar, the gravelly vocals with the wicked lyrics, and, yes, that way-groovy bass line. I bet the Lizard King smiles on this!
I totally understand the trepidation associated with altering a Doors song. I think you did a great job and would love to hear more of them. I don't think anyone in their right mind could say that the Doors would be against experimentation and exploration. Thanks for sharing your creativity. Take care brother.
The keyboardest took care of the bass as well as the organ. In this video it shows the olny guitarist playing bass. The olny bass the guitarist did was in Alabama Song. The keybordest and the guitarist played bass in that song because it had a very solom beat to it.
Well, this is both right and wrong. Ray was responsible for a lot of the bottom end, but the Doors also used a number of bass guitar players on their albums. In this particular case, the fantastic, rock-solid bass is provided by Ray Neapolitan. There is just no way the first generation of synth basses could produce realistic, fat, moist bass sounds like this. Not even the Fender Rhodes - and certainly not the Vox. Believe me, I own both.
Soy desde los 12 años amante de los doors, los escuche en radio y llame para ver qienes eran, desde entonces los amo, me encanto tu adecuacion, ahora lo puedo bailar mejor jajajaja gracas
dude, my grandma could make a better peace frog mix than that. why'd you have to skewer the song so bad? all you doors fans who think this is good are fucking retarded. You just picked like six 5-second pieces of the song and played them over and over. you suck.
