I think the video is pretty symbolic. Look at the setting of this video... desolate and cold, and just littered with things they had in the past. Physical things but also memories, and this is what has become of their relationship. The letting go of the balloon, setting things free. But I think the most intriguing thing is the clown, with it's fixed goofy expression. Has he always been this way? Is the clown the fool? yes, see 3:24 onwards. I'd love to write more but darn comment box limit.

@minnkwonn There is no accapella or instrumental available so the original was all we had to work with. None of the vocal extraction/isolation techniques worked, so it's that situation were you're trying to use the original sounds in creative ways, cause filtering them out just destroys the voice.

@jonray107 Did you read my tutorial at my blog? Everything after the first paragraph is when you don't have the instrumental. I was hoping it wasn't too technical :/ Sorry can't get it any simpler than that and I don't have time these days for making a video tutorial.

When Gaeri raps, I feel that the raps doesn't mesh well with synths. If anything I would've cut everything except the drum beat and rap and let the rap do its thing. Then slowly fade in everything else when Hyori starts back up.

For the song did you figure you had to keep it with the slow paced beat when remixing it or did it just seem proper to keep the original pace as is?

@DJTALLGEESE013579 Thanks for the comment. There are about a kajillion possible outcomes but that's how we liked it at that moment. I personally think that the rap part is one of the best parts of the remix and I love the synths in there.

@scyoon95 This, unlike my other remixes, is made at Christopher's studio using Ableton for sequencing and some hardware synths for the sounds (most come out from Access Virus).
