  • Had select to start with but Bachmann dynamis far better than hornby.

  • Hornby select

  • @LeeWoodsPhotography

Basically with DCC you can control each locomotive individually, and have more than one locomotive on a single track at a time, but all locomotives need to be fitted with special chips, or "decoders" so it can run the operations of DCC. Hope this helps :-)

  • Hornby select

  • Hornby Select

  • hornby select

  • so select

  • Hornby Select

  • no the dynamis is the best come on i have got the dynamis and the hornby one i think dynamis

  • Hornby Select everytime

  • Hornby Select

  • I think that the Hornby Select is better out of the two. But I think that your best bet is to get the Hornby Elite.

  • the bachmann kept cutting out on me dobt buy it!

  • trust me mate avoid both go with the dynamis u will never look back if u want a vid of how it works send me a message

  • please dont buy the bachmann its so terrible i had one then got rid of it the clear winner is the HORNBY SELECT!!!

  • What was wrong with the bachmann?

  • Hello! The bachmann EZ is terriable! Not many functions, a controller for those who have very little methinks. Go for the Hornby.... I use it, its a great little controller! Upto 100 locos, and accessories. Upto 9 functions, but it isnt NMRA compliment, so you can't run many sound, but with N gauge, it doesn't matter. I would choose.... mmm let me think for a second! NOT! HORNBY!

  • 9 really isn't enough, that would mean that certain locos wouldn't be able to be on the layout with another loco as they would share the same number. the ornby lets something like 50

  • yeah it takes a while to get used to but its goooood

    i'd go for hornby

  • i think that the ornby is starting to win over the bachmann

  • dont knwo anything about DCC but Ive heard good things about the hornby one

  • i've heard both positive & negitive things about them.

  • Bachmann EZ for small layouts and Hornby select for medium and Hornby Ellite for large layouts

  • mine is going to be small, but i'm put off with the amount of locos the bachmann allows

  • Neither, Use a Gaugemaster Prodigy Advance2

The controlling on that is crazy good.

  • i would, but i can't afford it!

  • If you can afford DCC then I'd 100% reccomend it. It's brilliant and easier to work with than normal DC.

    Hope this helps

  • thanks!
