This all worked well I imagine... except did you find that the MINT started to take over the world?
My back yard setup will be 2 years old this spring. Still have everything in one 300-gallon stock tank (the one on top of my car in the picture) and it has amazed me and everyone else who has come by...
Awesome system! We are building our first IBC system this very day, very similar to yours :) We would love to see an update to see how your plants are going. Please post another vid with your progress. PRETTY PLEASE!
I have been thinking about building a system like this for about a year... now you have me inspired to get started on it, I am looking forward to your updates and hoping to learn something about this before I get started.
I would like to get some tote tanks and build a system similar to yours.
One thing though when you add fish will you need additional filtration cause the water in your fish tank looks dirty besides if I do something like this my Boy's will want to see the fish.
@dguru469 thanks! No need to add filtration for this setup. The reason it looks dirty here is because the gravel had just been added a few days before this. The gravel sediment eventually settles back into the grow beds. Now you can see the fish fine. I will make another video soon to show. Thanks.
Do you have 2 sump tanks?

@jkejr The idea behind the fish is you eat them. I am not suggesting that you cant eat carp :)
