do it girl :) Take a chance to be different, show confidence even when u don't fully feel it, show them a different type of beautiful. We got ur back on here, so look us up 4 encouragement whn it gets tough :) Were here :) You may wanna transition first for awhile though too...

If youre not ready to big chop then get some braids or kinky twist. You dont have to do anything to your hair for a few weeks and it stops your hair from breaking because there isnt any manipulation or heat. This worked very good for my transition

I cut my hair because I wanted to be natural. I grew my relaxer out for 6 months and then I cut it. My relaxed hair was very healthy and nice, I just thought it was the right time for me to go natural.

I remember my big chop. It was not as tramatic as I thought it would be. And what's really crazy is that I've never had a desire to get a perm ever again! If I wanted it straight, I just did the hot comb thing and flat ironed for a temporary fix. Of course, now that I have long dreads I truly don't care about a perm now, lol. You looked and still look beautiful. Even with 6th grade eyebrows, lol. Smooches!

Yeah, it's a natural hair salon. But the guy who cut my hair doesn't work there anymore. There are a lot of natural salons out here, you just have to find the right one for you.  Good luck!
