  • I've come across two Clinton two-stroke engines up here in Canada. One is on my dad's chainsaw and the other was on a lawn mower. The lawn mower was built by Clemmer Industries of Waterloo, ON and had/has a cast aluminum deck and was traded in on a Lawnboy about twenty years ago.

  • Very interesting!

  • We had an engine like that and it is that kick start that interests me,great stuff mate.

  • @joluqa Thanks fro your comment. The old engine hobby is very enjoyable for me. Thanks

  • Thats great! I really love this kind of stuff. I was born in 1962 and remember my dad wraping the rope on the lawn mower engine to make it start.

  • @rudedogii You know it is simple but I have "rope starters" that are 80 years old and have not broken once yet so until the complex starters can do this I will not throw out my rope... Thanks for stopping by
