  • There's a of loose talk regarding the word "sovereignty," when what they really mean is RESERVED POWERS.

The ONLY way that states can be sovereign, is if they're SEPARATE NATIONS-- since otherwise, they have NO superme recourse against the federal government -- which thus becomes the NATIONAL government... and the final and exclusive JUDGE of its own powers by default.

What's wrong with you people that you can't see this fact, which is as as obvious as a brick wall.. that you keep hitting?

  • Under the current regime, the states are subordinate to the federal government-- i.e. once the fed speaks, it's FINAL.

There is no such thing as a "balance of power;" either the states are sovereign, or they are not. The current history claims that this was settled in a "civil war;" but that token, ANY nation could conquer another, and call it a "civil war" in retroactive history.

No, the fact is that that every state is a SOVEREIGN NATION under its people, and they need to ASSERT this!

  • As a Citizen of the great State of New Hampshire, I could not be happier to have been born here. When your States Motto is "Live Free or Die" it is very clear what we can live with, ande we will not. It answered all

  • @rrg603

You're only as free as the federal leash you're on. Try nullifying a federal law, and see what happens.

  • With the creation of over 72 fusion centers in the states and Obamas exectutive or for the Counsil of Governers, he's attempting to take away all state rights. 10 governers to rule all

  • Too many people confuse state sovereignty, with reserved state powers,

They are not the same; reserved state-powers are simply those powers which the Constitution recognizes as being reserved to the state governments and people, while state sovereignty means that the state a popularly sovereign nation unto itself, whose people can supremely overrule every other power or government on earth.

  • @kungfu2u2 That is what the states are. The United States as the name implies is supposed to be a confederation of states who voice like interests in Washington DC. What it has become is something entirely different. Read the Virgina and Kentucky Resolutions. Any state can nullify a federal law when it's people decide. The returning of fugitive slaves was outlawed nullifying the federal governments act by many northern states. The founders would not have left the states intact if we are all one

  • @Luigi84289

Each state is a sovereign nation unto itself, by law. Until this is established in current history, however, it wil continue to be ruled as a coercive empire.

  • @kungfu2u2 If you believe the "civil war" was fought solely to eradicate slavery you are being greatly deceived. It was nothing more than the age old nationalist vs federalist (confederation) ideological dispute. The winning side wanted a completely different type of Government one identical to the structure of the British Empire. Neither side was good. There is no good side in any war. Any time man resorts to it he is committing evil. All men are naturally free.

  • @Luigi84289

There was NEVER a "civil war" in America, since that takes place within a single sovereign nation- not between two or more.

Such questions are not settled by brute force, but only by historical FACT-- and a simple perusal of the facts, PROVES that each state is a sovereign nation unto itself.

Until the people of each state assert their sovereignty as the supreme rulers of their respective state, then the USA will REMAIN a dictatorial empire.

  • This bill is not a secession from the united states. It just makes it clear that we do not recognize any foreign authority, because we ARE the authority. the united states did not come before the states. the creator is above the created.. remember whose in power. any UN troops or Feds trying to wave authority around the citizens of this state is an act of war on the people of that state. Which firsthand falls under the responsibility of the sheriff of that county to protect the people.

  • this video was posted a while back.. the first time my state (Oklahoma) tried to pass this bill it got vetoed by the governor. Now its almost September, about a month or so back the bill was pushed to get passed again. Our state house has already passed it and now its going to go to the senate in November. And yes the feds need to be dealt with. Lets abolish the feds....and replace them....with NOTHING. They have no authority over the states. the states created them!!!

  • @soonerboi212 How are the chemtrails in Oklahoma? Miami they never stop. Will they be able to continue the spraying there? If still?

    Thanks

  • @deec269 Their spraying in Michigan too

  • And who DECIDES what's delegated by the Constittion?

If it's not the ederal government, then who? State governments?

  • so good to see my state in their - MO!

  • @scuffe01 I would rather live in the USA in bad times then the pig hole you live in.

Christ you can't can't even own guns and you have an outstanding Muslim population that is going to end up taking over your country. Don't ask help from us

when it hits the fan. We have saved your Ass once and I hope not again.

  • For those of you in Florida this is a word of awakening. S1240 is in consideration in the committee of Judiciary right now. Do your part to pass this bill so that we the people of Florida can add our state to the list.

    S1240

Proposes an amendment to the State Constitution to assert the sovereignty of the state and refuse to comply with unconstitutional federal mandates.

  • "If one desires to alter the government...he should retain at least the shadow of the older customs so that it will not seem to the people that they have changed institutions, whereas in actual fact the new institutions may be completely different from those of the past; for the majority of men delude themselves with what seems to be rather than with what actually is." -- Machiavelli, 'Discourses'

  • we have neighborhoods in northern va, virginia beach and culpeper supporting the Firearms Freedom Act

  • I'm just glad to see various heads of state snubbing their nose at the federal government with respect to Soveringty and gun rights, it's time to take back our rights!

  • U.S. Federal Gov't disintegrates. The 2 witnesses form a new nation within it (Rev11:5-9). Israel is the Jack in the Box that pops out of the NWO that the heathen nations were fooled into becoming under the jurisdiction of. The 2 witnesses are characterized as leaders of a terrorist oppressive dictatorship. War against this new nation leads to the capture and sentencing and execution of the 2 witnesses in Jerusalem. If you have more questions let me know. Only delusional ppl create cults.

  • Idaho needs to join the other sovereighty too.

  • The states that are loyal to Canada will be taken care of.. the states that are loyal to Canada will be supplied with water/goods/electricity and a lifetime supplies of free Tim Hortons coffee

haha just joking around. hope things turn out okay.

  • America's founding document the Declaration of Independence declares that our states are free and independent. And so they are. We are not one nation with one all-powerful central government. We are a federation of nation-states, unite in a voluntary union , with each State reserving to itself the power and authority of self-determination, and ceding to the federal government limited, specifically delineated duties and limitations-limitations that have been totally ignored.

  • Laws are just ink on a few pages off paper to the people in power!

    Just like in Europe!

  • Great job! Good info to have, may come in useful someday soon.

  • fuck conservatives, they are a fucking disease

  • ...and MILLIONS of woman and men patriots have fought and died for your freedom to have the right to be as ignorant as you want to be, Enjoy!

  • do you even know what is FREEDOM???

  • LoL! wow people never fail to amuse and amaze me. Let me guess, you're stuck in a box thinking that Republicans are conservatives? If you think Bush being a Republican means he was a Conservative then you need to wake the fuck up, study history, constitutional law and open your eyes up to reality. Fact: The same family of Banksters have been in power for 300+ years. Fact: EVERY war, famine, genocide, oppressive Government is run by Bankster Puppets & talking heads aka Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Obama.

  • Bankers own the Earth. Take it away from them but leave them the power to create money, and, with the flick of a pen, they will create enough money to buy it back again. But, if you want to continue to be the slave of the bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, then let the bankers continue to create money and control credit.Sir Josiah Stamp, President, Bank of England (2nd richest man in England). Rothschilds fav saying "Who controls the issuance of money controls the government!"

  • My 2 favorite quotes! Thanks for sharing :-P

  • OBAMA??? your argument just lost any credibility

  • What about whos dick you suck at night again? Seriously WTF kind of statement is that......lol?

  • In what way?

  • Well spoken but LOTS off luck trying to get that message through some people´s thick skulls if you know what I mean?!!?

  • That depends on what you mean by conservatives?

  • Its always upset me to see people flying the stars and stripes when by rights should be flying their state flag. This country's flag has become more of a United States symbol and less of a United states of America symbol. Big difference!

  • State Flags should be flown over State Property, State Capitol, local Court Houses, State Schools, etc.

The Federal Flag should be flown over Federal Property, Federal Court, Post Office, The Capitol, etc.

  • wake up people this government is trying to enslave you all its really happening!! nwo exist and will try to take everything you own all i can say is get the heck out of america while you still can

  • The NWO is everywhere. In every country and you can't run from it. You run your a pussy you stand up and fight your a man! And the state sovereignty protects Americans from the NWO. Its not going to happen Obama has Court Jan 26th 2010 hes going bye bye and Judge Dave Carter will send his NWO ass packing!

  • Tell me more about Obama going to court I have not herd of this.

  • One could only wish but it´s doubtfull!

  • @zorngokuevans I agree 1000% but where can we go? Iceland, Greece, Spain, Ireland, UK, Germany, France, on and on are collapsing.

In many countries Americans are being attacked. My son {civilian} was in So. Korea and an Iranian tried to throw him off the train platform onto an approaching train. Where is it safe and accepting dollars?

  • read the bible this world is ending ecaxtly the way jesus said it would. (you better get right, fast with God) i say repent!

  • Amen to that. Thanks for watching.

  • shut the fuck up

  • @ehyll so silly of you to say this...lol I respect religion for the moral values...but you cannot honestly think that a fairytale like that is real. That bible you fine folks read was actually a story that was copied from 2,000 years before jesus even existed. I think it's simply greedy human beings who have a lust for power that has eluded them and their ancestors for hundreds of years. But since the federal reserve in 31...its been on-track ever since... peace be with you!

  • IS IT TIME?! Go to USRevolution2 (dot com) and get your flag of the Second American Revolution. It looks exactly like the Betsy Ross Flag, but with a Roman numeral "II" in the center of the 13 stars. The flag is in all 50 states and spreading from porch to porch. It is also MADE IN AMERICA (Texas).

  • States need to stand behind their power as granted by the 10th amendment. The states each have the right to try or do anything they want for their people. This is because local is closest to the needs of its people and states are next where federal is the most withdrawn and should not be over any such affairs. Allow states themselves to pass health care plans, etc. Do not let the federal make them or stop them.

  • We in Florida must get our heads out our asses and start as well, LETS ROCK !

  • New Hampshire's star can be ripped off the flag now that the Senate didn't vote for their State's Rights bill. The lame excuse was: "it isn't really needed". Grow some balls up there!

  • tenthamendmentcenter(.)com/2009/02/23/state-sovereignty-resolutions/

This link is for up-to-date info on your state and it's State Sovereignty Resolution.

  • 7/20/09 Eric Holdin-on-er threw out a bill / d-o-justice to eliminate giving "Nationalized Healthcare" to Illegals in Georgia (So-Far) so...

he's bying all the votes to "Lock-in" 2012 THIS HAS TO STOP! another incentive to come to the U.S. I-L-L-E-G-A-L-L-Y!!!!!!!

  • yeah they left out Texas and California too

  • is texas a sovereighty state? Is VA? Very scary times and it's just the beginning.

  • It is time to partition the States, let the JOKERS have their Union of Socialists States.

Let us have our Constitutional Republic.

Barry is a turtle on a fence post and doesn't know how he got there.

  • They can't make it without a producing and protecting class, that's why they are trying to make it so those of us who have a brain in our heads can't escape. But I agree! Let the pro-abortion, gay/lesbians diseased and welfare slobs have one half of the Nation (just to make it fair-)and let them do what they want. We'll build a wall down the middle and not allow those who choose that side to return. In three generations we can take the wall down because they're wont be anyone left! Simple!

  • "The problem with socialism is we eventually run out of other people's money," M. T.

"We federated for foreign affairs only, all domestic affairs are left to the States, or to the People." Thomas Jefferson

We did not Nationalize, we Federalized.

  • Hahaha good point!

Though I probably would´nt DARE say ANYTHING similar in Sweden!

*dragging my finger across my throat*

  • Yeah they just passed it!

  • the fairness doctrine is not about free speech!

  • real hard to state sections of the US constitution *clap clap*

  • Why was Ron Paul's video deleted for terms of use violation?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!

  • There are still many versions here on YT. In the search box enter ["Ron Paul" + Secession], (without the brackets), you'll find several clips are still here. For example: watch?v=xbgZmvxthzE

is just one I found ... hope these tips help.

  • But remember these things: Those of us who live in one of the 50 states, we are ALL and shall ever be, AMERICANS. Don't forget that; they're counting on us to descend into chaos and self destruction, whereupon they will offer themselves as our salvation. Hang together, or they'll hang us separately! Also remember, OUR RIGHTS ARE WHAT WE CAN HOLD AT THE END OF OUR GUNS! That's why we have the second amendment - and the rest of the world DOES NOT.

  • Indeed, it was Thomas Jefferson who said, "A little revolution now and then is a good thing." Indeed, our founding fathers were branded as traitors and criminals. That is something to think about.

  • Great video, what's the name of the song?

  • Artist: Robin Wynn

    Song: New World

    Album: Oblivion

    Time: 03:04

    Genre: Rock

  • just need colorado to be added to the list!

    thanks for the info!

    :D

  • Unless I am mistaken, HCR 6 in NH was voted by the house to be INEXPEDIENT TO LEGISLATE.

To me that is a blow against freedom lovers. So much for "Live Free or Die".

  • Interesting twist, hmm. DOA.. didn't even vote on it.

    Thanks for the heads up.

  • Maybe all the stimulus money (HR 1) had an effect on their patriotism.

  • BRAVO for posting this!!!!!

  • seems like New Hampshire is the place to live.

  • Ya there state moto is live free or die. But most of them arent dead. So take it for wat its worth.

  • The Constitution isn't the problem, over-inflated government that steps on the constitution is the problem. Let the states decide on guns, gay marriage, ect---Not the government. I, for one, don't care about gay marriage. If they want to get married-it's fine by me. but i damn sure care about my right to bear arms, freedom Of (not from) religion, freedom of speech, ect.

  • You're just jealous that no other country has a bill of rights like America. At least we have a standing chance against tyranny. You have to submit and love your dear leader.

WAKE UP. The problem is because our servants have been straying from the constitution.

  • maybe instead of bashing, someone who has simply cited fact you should try coming up with an intelligent argument against them. Your irrational directive to send someone to hell will not get anyone to believe as you do.

  • I stand by my statement. For someone to say we should abolish our states and throw away the Constitution away and especially coming from someone who lives outside the U.S., though it would be unconscionable for someone who lives here to say it. This jerk would not believe in our country no matter what anyone says.

  • nobody wants to abolish anything stupid. nullifyng the federal government isn't abolishing the states. The states created the feds. Virgina and South Carolina have been here since the 1600s. The states aren't going anywhere. We need a new fed our fed is killing us. If you think it's not you're living in a delusion. The feds already destroyed the constitution. We are seceding to protect and enforce it as our founding fathers intended.

  • @Luigi84289

    Amen Brother.

  • @Luigi84289 Florida is in the middle of passing this law. I know because I work in the Senate of florida. S1240 is a good bill.

Proposes an amendment to the State Constitution to assert the sovereignty of the state and refuse to comply with unconstitutional federal mandates.

Do your part now those of you in Florida. Go to flsenate(dot)gov for more info

  • @Luigi84289 you are exactly right. The states were here first and formed the Government who is trying to tell us what to do. I say God Bless the Constitution and the Great Men who wrote it. They all prayed for divine help in writing it. That is the

reason it is so perfect. Prayer and salute to the flag should be mandatory in schools.

  • @Luigi84289 The states will go bye bye if our president is throwing it up in the air for grabs! Don't be deceived! President Obama is not on America's side or the constitution's... he is straight taking our freedom from us and trying to run our country like religious fascists! BE AWARE!!! FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!

AND PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!

  • @bonnientommy Whites and others who side with them will restore our freedoms when the time comes. Arizona and 6 other states are cracking down on illegal immigration. The Governors of all the states don't want to lose their supporters. Our Governor Perry while not the greatest guy will do what it takes to keep his segment of the population supporting him. He will not let us get shut out. How can you have a war on drugs for one and let anybody just walk over at the same time? It's Ludicrous.

  • Many people in the USA are under the false impression that Federal, Sate, and Local levels of government represent a hierarchy. This is only the case in relation to State and local government, in the case of State and Federal government the Constitution is clear that the relation is one of synergy; ie the cooperation and division of powers among equals for mutual benefit.

  • Awesome Video! We need more stuff like this.

  • Further more......Second of all southerners let me remind you alot of Yankee's now live in the south. That's yesterdays news.. Also, I'm from Texas and damned right I will fight for my second ammendmant rights. Whether it be beside ya and it has nothing to do with north verse south period.. Texas is also thinking of State soveriengty. Thank you

  • Comment removed

  • Ok I've read alot of stupid biggoted comments about North verse South. This has nothing to do with that. I has alot to do with a federal goverment. Infringing change bending the rules. And twisting the constitution. For thier benifit period.

  • PERRY ASKED FOR FEDERAL AID TO HELP MAKE SURE THE SWINE FLU DOESNT SPREAD IN TEXAS.

More proof this is fake rage.

    Fuck Perry and fuck teabaggers.

  • Montana Firearms Freedom Act - House Bill 246

    Proclaims 2nd, 9th & 10th Amendments.

    See Side Bar.

  • Isn't this a good thing? State sovereignty?

  • So far it's financial sovereignty, but I think it could be a ruse to get people fired up so they can have an excuse to clamp down. Idunno?

  • To date, 36 of the 50 states have at least drafted the declarations.

If you live in Washington, Nebraska, Wyoming, Florida, New York or any of the others who haven't - or have killed by legislative comittee, you might want let your representatives know your opinion.

  • how come any video you watch od obama is clear and no stops. anything ron paul or alex jones is delayed, stops and has issues? Interesting

  • Perhaps this is what is needed...

Texas has plenty of oil and gas...

There are enough reserves in Montana to fuel all the states for the next 50 years at a cost of 16.00 per barrel....The goverment knows this.....it is on the U S geoligical survery website..... Yet we destroy our own industry and export our wealth overseas to a foriegn people.

We do not need their oil.....

We do not need policy dictated to us....

We do not need to be blackmailed into sending our wealth overseas...

  • Turning into an Obama-nation the road to hell

  • It would seem that this is just politics as usual. Not ONE of those states or its citizens could actually stand on its own anymore. Hardly anyone knows how utilize the land around them and even if they did they would be to fat to be productive.

  • We can in Texas!

  • This is not about secession, these states are trying to keep the Republic together by rolling back a powerful and abusive federal government that has brought us to the brink of chaos. This is not the time for Rep-Dem posturing and finger-pointing, individuals on both sides of that coin have brought us to this point. It is time to fix things. In Texas, our sovereignty legislation is a bipartisan effort, not part of the right-left dialectic, though there are holdouts.

  • But in response to bourbon and his poor assertion that no state could make it without the FED: In Texas we have a budget surplus, oil and natural gas, means of production, a stable and independent electrical grid, our own sea ports, etc. If the Federal government wanted to disavow us, I think we, along with the other states filing such legislation would be able to survive. It would be rough during the transition, but it could be done.

  • Wow, you really don't know what your talking about. Texas has the 9th largest economy in the world. Not to mention a 7 billion dollar budget surplus, plenty of land to farm and enough of our own energy to sustain us for many years to come.

  • The 10th is not secession.. and Perry did it to get re- elected.

  • This has nothing to do with north south. Get over it! It is time to join forces against the real enemy the government. This crap goes back to the first BUSH, CLINTON, BUSH, CLINTON INC! Obama runs nothing. Its time to wake up these kids that have been brainwashed from K-12 on up! Focus on the real battle for your children!

  • I think practically every person showing up here wants exactly the same thing. A fair government that does no more than what is necessary to create a true parity of opportunity for all its citizens.

I think we get there by following the money. The more accurately we can map our economy the more easily we can find and redress the externalities that make it less fair. Our true power as a nation comes from how effectively we can match our citizens to productive work they find rewarding.

  • Who's to blame for our poor government, the elected officials or the people who elected them? I just don't see how discarding the entire government and starting over would solve our real problem. We already have a government of the people. There's nothing to win in a revolution.

I think the question is how do we educated and motivate our kids to take their responsibilities as citizens more seriously that we did. Perhaps an ongoing grade school activity to map their local economy.

  • this is very much needed!!!

  • I love how these people say to declare the 10th Amendment and your state sovereignty is unAmerican and we're "unpatriotic" but its the exact reason we left British rule. It's the same reason the South left Federal rule. The 13 colonies and the South were right and fought for EXACTLY the same thing. Succession is government by choice and is our tradition. Ponder on that, fellas.

  • As we say down here in Dixie: To hell with the USA and God save The South!

    How's that for unpatriotic?

  • Kicked your ass once, can do it again.

  • Let's see, two dead yankees to every one dead Confederate; I wish to God you people would try to "kick our ass" again. There are alot of us Southerners just waiting for our chance to run you carpetbaggers off and take back "our" country. TO HELL WITH AMERICA!

  • It takes 34 states to dissolve a federal govt that is acting outside the scope of the Constitution. The fed has been overreaching for a long time. It didn't start with Obama; he's merely continuing the stealth trend toward globalism. The far Left want a global socialism; the far Right want global control by banks and corporations. They're in cahoots.

The 10th Amendment gives states the right and the DUTY to reform (and re-form) a fed that is out of control. State by state, "Let's roll!"

  • Agreed, this started in 1913 was made worse by FDR's new deal, and entombed by Nixon in 1970's dropping of the Gold Standard.

Both parties have in the past, and continue to subvert the state and individual sovereignty. The US is now in nearly 70 Trillion dollar debt including medicare & social security. I read that as bankrupt, since there is ZERO way it could ever be paid off.

  • You should read "Bankruptcy 1995" which made the same predictions 20 years ago.

  • What if... just what if the State Sovereignty Movement is a sham to lull us into a state of complacency? Please research this...

  • It's precisely the opposite! It's you who'd benefit from research. Start by reading the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Regardless of party, are you frustrated with a govt that's been out of control for decades? THIS is the answer the Founders gave us to truly do something binding about it.

  • I have done research and read and read and read. But what's happening in Missouri COULD be an indication of the sovereignty movement being engineered to placate the masses. Anti gun laws are being passed in states that have declared their sovereignty.

But there are way too many ordinary people who have no idea, at all, that any of this is happening.

Black could be white and white, black.

  • Did MO's state sovereignty bill actually pass in the legislature? Exactly what is its language with respect to the 2nd Amendment? How much pull does McCaskill have on state legislators? If MO is your state, why not call the sponsors of the bill and ask about the seeming contradiction?

It doesn't make sense. I see now why you're concerned, and I apologize for thinking you were not informed about state sovereignty. As a whole, the movement isn't a means of placating the people.

  • these bills are dieing everyday after the first reading... I don't think any of them have even made it to committee. Not only that, they are just paying lip service to the feds.. if governors refuse to take part and refuse stimulus money, the feds will go directly to the state legislators with it.. in other words..IT MEANS NOTHING, EVEN PASSED

  • Houston, we have a problem. Texas Representative Burt Solomons is trying to let HCR 50, 66 and 76 die in committee. Please call his office and tell him to let these bills be discussed. His number is

    Representative Burt Solomons

    (512) 463-0478

    (972) 394-3904

  • I always thought republicans loved their country. Tell me one thing, what will you do once you split the nation in half?

  • The fedgov is the one splitting the nation. They push the people as much as the people allow them. Then the people get tired of it and fight back. The republicans received overwhelming opposition to the bail-out bills, but voted for them anyway. This nation started as an association of independent 'state republics'. That's where the term 'republican' originated. The people have now lost control of THEIR government . It's the people's perogative now, not the fedgov.

    Wake up, America!

  • I know the history of America, thank you. A government for the people by the people is nice and all but in reality once any government is started it is already out of your hands.

I agree that when a government goes too far the people must rise up but whose to say that is has derailed far enough to take such action?

And again once no matter who starts splitting the nation, what do you do after you Finish it? In the end would it be worth starting a new government over this?

  • I had no intent to insult you, Sir. Then you know the founding fathers warned us that we had a republic.."if we can keep it". They pledged their lives, fortunes and scared honor. That was when the people controlled their government. And the founders also said if all we want is security, then we don't deserve liberty. I don't want a new government. I want a genuine legislature that doesn't squander their the people's posterity for banks and corporations.

    Wake up, America!

  • This is not about Rep. or Dem. it is about the Constitution. Our founders wrote the Constitution to protect us from the very things you bring up. Once the government was formed the Constitution limited Federal Powers, the Powers Of Congress. The 10th amendment protects the States from the Federal Government. The 2nd amendment gives the States and the People the rights to protect themselves with arms from the Federal Government. Tories, ask, the same question. What will you do if we spit? Freedom

  • You are completly right, its not about party offilations, its about our freedoms. Thats what this nation was founded on, and if the federal government infriges these rights, "it is the right of the people to abolish or alter it" (Declaration of Independence). These states all believe that their rights have been infriged and they have the right to alter the way in which they governed because of that and the Declaration of Independence states "governments..derive their powers from..the governed."

  • WE are not splitting it in half. YOUR side is ignoring the Constitution and the States have a right to put the Feds back in their place!

  • The Federal Gov. needs to be dismantled and rebuilt to a much a smaller size. It should be rebuilt around the constitution. We should abolish the NSA, CIA, homeland security, FEMA, the pentagon and the Federal Reserve.

  • So if 34 states express their constitutional right of State Sovereignty then our gov could go away.. but, wouldnt the president just declare Martial law?

  • nope, 34 states means they now have enough states to put it to a vote.

Martial law could be declared any time, for any reason.

Again though, the driver for the legislation has been a financial one, and not one of secession. Basically the states are telling the Gov that enough is enough with the taxation (bailouts). The language however paves the way for secession legislation where 3/4 of the states are required as far as I know.

  • Do you think they can get 34 states? And.. yeah i don't see our government letting the states get away with anything.

  • I don't know, I think a few critical ones have dropped off. I think its pressure from fed gov that is making them steer away from the legislation. You know, tell them they get no bailout money.

I the end, I think it will be a free for all.

  • Well there are 12 more states that have proposed the same, if not similar bills, that give the state sovereignty.

  • So what would happen if they did declare sovereignty?

  • The States don't really have to declare sovereignty. The States are trying to tell the Federal Government to use the Constitution. States never lost their sovereignty, the Government is overstepping its authority, I hope this doesn't cause a revolution.

To paraphrase JFK, if government prevents peaceful revolution, violent revolution is inevitable. Homeland Security is in place to protect the government from the us, not terrorist. When was the last time you saw a terrorist?

  • I don't believe the attack of Sept. 11 is not a real terrorist attack. Bush claim that they attacked us because they hate our freedom. After that sad day Bush has passed the Patriot Act and also added Homeland Security. What is written on those documents are actually limiting our freedom. The new laws had not made our country safer, but it has taken away our freedom. What had happen on 9/11 is just to scare everyone, to make them feel the need of more protection by the police & military.

  • Well its more complicated then that they are asserting their rights as states because the federal government has limited power. Though if something did happen because of it that could be disasterous but more or less its a reminder.

  • The States, by definition are sovereign. The purpose of the bills is to declare financial sovereignty from the federal gov. The addition of items like, martial law, gun confiscation, et. al. simply means that they are reminding the Fed Gov of their limitations on states and individual rights. This paves the way for secession legislation if its what they want.

California has had it in the books since 1994 as far as I understand. Knowledge of its existence has only come to light recently.

  • I totally agree with you. The way Americans are living their lives now are all about what matters to them. They are not seeing what is going on as a whole. I was one of them people until I started my class on American Government. The Elites are definitely trying to declare martial law, so they can control us. We are nothing but slaves to them, but only to help them put money in their pockets. For people that do not know about FEMA camps, they should do some research about it.

  • UPDATE, WA ST. Bill Dead voted down, MOntana bill not passed debated that was it, Forget MO and AR for sure CO to many military installations there.N.H. has the best, strongets bill, but guess what, still has not passed. Sad as I am in Wa St so yuck, not from WA ST but been hear 3 years, from New England, none of them are doing a damn thing, man home of the Boston Tea party, Rhode Island first free state nothing, I am more sad by N.E. no bill's, home of my Patriots N.E. anything but

  • Movements for state sovereignty and independence are the natural result of the federal government forsaking the limitations of the Constitution and usurping it's limited authority over life, liberty, and property.

    Wake up, America!..

  • Americans used to roar like lions for liberty. Now we bleat like sheep for security.

  • Hurray for Washington, long may the green flag wave!

  • socialism is best imposed at a point of a gun and just who is it that wants Gun Control ? Perhaps you should rethink your position .

  • I do not think you are at all understanding my position. What I said again...Listen to both sides, not just yours and make your own decisions.

  • I am 53 yrs. old I have listened to both sides and have been voting since Carter gave the canal away . One side is Socialist , I am not a Farm Animal . I have made my choice .

  • I am not on the side of socialism. Nor on the far rights side of unfettered greed. Again the highest elements of both sides are on the same team. I listen to Hartmann and Beck. Both are smart people. Beck is far right and speaks the truth about gov and banks. Hartmann is the sameonly coming from the left. I am not an idealog. I can listen to both sides of an issue. I am on my side. No one else's. Congratulations on not being a farm animal.

  • Good video.

I wonder where the hell these states were when bush was in office doing all his damage?

  • where is your brain ? what damage do you speak of ? when you make statements try to explain yourself and no I am not going to buy your gas or pay your mortgage .

  • What damage?....Hello, Patriot Act, Directive 51,....Oh wait, those are good things right? I am not a liberal, nor do I want anything from you. I want control of government reigned in on both sides. I am an independent thinker. You should try it.

  • I would love to hear your thoughts our new President Hugobama his new gun control plans , community service requirements for H. S . Graduation socialization of our Healthcare , you know thing that really matter

  • I think he is not going to undo the Patriot Act or the Mlitary Commissions act like everyone hoped. Involuntary servitude goes against the Constitution, as does gun control. This President does not care about the Constitution. Bush just tried to go around it, and did a damn good job of it. As far as health care, as inept as the government is. I am very afraid how bad they will mess this up, and how much it will cost. I believe they are all about big pharma. We are in a real mess friend.

  • Do you have any problems with the Fairness Doctrine being brought back under any name ? Or is Free Speech for some people only ?

  • This one I am trult side by side with you. They say in the best interests of the public. I said they are snakes on both sides. People can choose the stations or on or off on the radio. I do not trust Limbaugh or Hannity due to the fact they are party people only. I like Beck because he swings either way with logic. I really like Hartmann too because he is logical, and he is a socialist but smarter than most. Always listen to both sides so you can make a reasonable choice. I fit in the middle.
