I left 11 arasai toons, 1 fae coercer. I was mainly a crafter but had 2 PVP toons I liked to use to kill with. Unfortunately, SoE for whatever reason decided to take way options for me to keep myself sub level 10 adv so I could get to level 60 tradeskill with no problem while having the skill to mine in all tiers up to KoS.
I was gonna mow the grass but then I played eq, I was gonna cook dinner but then I played eq, I was gonna pay the bills but I played eq... LOL I'm an eq addict so im allowed to poke fun =P Seriously RL comes first! But damn taht eq fix is gooooooood beats flaking out in front of the telelvision hehehe
i cant really bag on Eq2 but it took my parents from me its all they care about but im not one to judge since i play EQ original but i never get that obsorbed maybe ill try it later on but im afraid and its to late to apologize its too laaaaate!
If you have only read bad things about eq2, you haven't read much. Many of us enjoy the game immensely. I have played since launch and have not been tempted to leave for another game.

We have great friends in game and out of game, we have attorneys in our guild, high level execs, small and large business owners and so on. My point is its very possible to live a wealthy full life and have time for your kids and a great career. Hell i'm even in law school..

Well I realize you love your husband. But I think there is more there than Everquest 2. The basis for a good relationship is understanding and being compatible for one another. I'm not attacking you as a couple, but perhaps you two just don't mesh when it comes to that sort of thing. And thats, in my opinion, VERY important.

Since when did placing blame on video games become so popular? The blame lies solely in the person that is unable to take themselves away from it. The game doesn't make the person play it. If you are in a relationship where your significant other spends all their time in the game, you have two options. Get them to see a shrink, or leave. Simple as that.
I play EQ2 every day, and I have a perfectly normal life, thanks. The problem isn't with the game, it's with the person.
