@Mustang424 They needed to do away with the "easy bake oven" because of the banning of the 100 watt incandescent light bulb in the US. They had to find other ways to keep making money on the same concept. Though I agree, at this point, just bake a real cake. Those kids are old enough to do it themselves- And wtf- this toy is aimed at girls, which has all sort of gender roll issues attached but seriously, you're a big boy, make you're own fucking sandwich. Most chefs are male.

Hey u don't need an easy bake oven!! Just get the powder and add water!! Put in a regular microwave and wait 30 seconds! Decorate with regular frosting!! Taste it and BLECH!!! :-p

I just make this easy bake. (We did cake.) It was hard. I'm adult. Much easier just bake a regular cake. The cake taste rubbery. (I tried the cake batter taste like clay.) The frosting (fondue) taste all sugar. Didn't taste like frosting. It wasn't easy to make it. It was hard.
