I doubt your own knife can be used against you. They tried to preach the same message here in the US about guns. The facts proved it wasn't so time and time again. Well they'll have to beat me to death with it because it will be EMPTY " Clint Smith I submit the same claim about a knife. Try to take my knife away from me and you won't be able to hold it...I will have cut your hands off by then.
London sounds dangerous. Just make sure to have a good self defense type blade and at least study and practice a little. I live near Dallas, Texas USA. Dallas has plenty of crime (bank robberies, drugs, murders) but STREET CRIME is almost non existent. same with the public transit .(of course we have a wonderful public transit system that practically no one uses) too many cowboys with riding around with guns and conceal carry permits (like me) try to mug someone and you'll get shot
So now the English are completely defenseless. Lets see if the guy that was running had a gun like the one I carry or a knife of his own. This situation could have been avoided. How are you going to ban knives anyway. Thats impossible, they can't even do it in prison. The only people who aren't going to be carrying knives are law abiding people. We just had a 75 year old man fend off 3 gang members that jumped him with a .38 snub nose revolver. If there was a ban on weapons here he might be dead
