  • all the violins on in the left, violas in the middle, chellos and string bass on the right and all the other instruments like flutes, clarinets oboes, bassooms, french horns, trumpets, tromebones ,tubas, and procussions way in the back.

  • This clip stops at the best moment!! FAIL!!!

  • es real mente un a de las mejores versiones que he escuchado me encanta.

  • @mkchoco1 dude i'm 15 and in the 11th grade. I'm in grade 7 Royal Schools of music practical exams (ABRSM). And yh i meant to say piece... Lol sorry :)

  • Dubstep people do say when they here a good song: This song just ripped of one of my testicles, SOOO FILTHY.

This is the same, but than not dubstep, but classical, and I love it.

  • I've always thought this introduction was the most sincerest apology in music; whereas the finale of the last movement was nothing more than Tchaikovsky giving the world the middle finger!

  • SUCH A BAD PLACE FOR A CUTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is one of my favourite symphonies, but it has been given no justice due to this extremely poor recording.

  • yes,, Tchaikovsky's music'll live forever. Someday, we will all compose like Pyotr Ilyich, or like Ludwig Van...then sex will mean little more to us than love, and no one, not even ourself, will have a hold on us, and won't it be grand...

  • 1:00 People, listen! It's clarinet... strings... and then the magnificient sound of Nokia battery getting low, and it fits the harmony perfectly (in tonic chord). Tchaikovsky was a real genius... and a prophet, I think.

  • @Virtimera

    yes. such a coincidence, haha!!!

  • come on

    it was just a blip

i cant say it fits the harmony perfectly

  • @Virtimera I know right...It may have fit but people are so rude at concerts. Example being the ones who seem to develop a chronic cough that night, or "forget" about their electronic devices among other things. I'd lump these people together with the same bunch who ruin movies at theatres >:C

  • @Mortechai Yeah, those folks are definitely going to "Special Hell"

    lol.

  • @Virtimera it sounds like a piano

  • spasibo, Gaspadin Tchaikovsky!!

  • im playing this in my orchestra im only grade 5 ! what is the conductor thinking :S

  • @Ecoll009 don't worry, he's not crazy, i'm a grade 7, played 2nd violin for this song...lol, we played this symphony last weekend at a concert...was amazing. I'm only 15 and i played in a full youth orchestra! It was fun and we sounded pretty damn goooooodd!!! lol. It isn't too bad....just practice. If you are enjoying it, it will not be hard, or difficult, it will be fun...embrace the challenge....have fun!! :P

  • @narnialover16 Damn kids these days. These things are what make this world a terrible place.

  • @narnialover16 dude, ur 15 but in 7th grade?im 13 but in 7th grade. and btw this isn't a song, its a piece

  • this has always been my favorite of Tchaikovsky's works. Thank you for uploading.

  • Could Tchaikovsky orchestrate like a mofo or what? My God. So beautiful and effective.

  • I just went to see this last night for the first time. performed by the scottish national orcestra. Was absolutely amazing. This is a breathe-taking performance also. Some of Tchaikovski's greatest - particularly the second movement.

  • Yeah got lazy, I meant ... "Ummm Hmmm!" I'm at Stetson University and I really hope we are going to play this next year. Lst semester we did Sibelius's 2 symphony. :]!

  • Violas in the middle... hmmm.

  • @bywotway was that hmmm as in "i'm confused" or hmmm as in "mmmmm yeah! check out those viola players in the middle!!"??

  • fabulous piece! and very well-done by this orchestra...we are doing the same piece in csyo (I was lucky enough to be chosen for 3rd chair cello for it) and I'm really enjoying playing it! I get an adrenaline rush in the end of the 4th movement and in the middle of the 1st

  • @befryxell Oh my god Ken Lam does CSYO, I love him so much :D

  • @DhAoS1020 oh, you know him? wow! small world, eh? we had our first performance of it today, but under 1k people showed up

  • @befryxell I met him at Brevard music camp this summer.

He was an assistant conductor there.

Great guy, and a fantastic conductor.

  • @DhAoS1020 ahh fabulous...i considered brevard but went for sewanee instead...are you a cellist as well?

  • Nope, I'm a violist :D

  • @DhAoS1020 ahh i see

  • I am an alumni of the Brevard Music Center ('95) Ohhhhh such fond memories! If you have an opportunity to go to a camp this year I would highly recommend Brevard!
