when I connect my Fantom G6 to my computer through a usb cable it sees the keyboard for input and output device but although it sees it for input device it does not seem to respond to any keys being pressed on the keyboard, what am I doing wrong? How do I fix this problem, please help! Thanks
at 1:08 would u recomend me to hold the blue F with my right hand instead of my left? i am only 14 and my hands are sadly not fully grown. or atleast i hope so. anyway should i just try to put up with it and skip 2 keys to the right? or is there a trick with the pedal? i am clueless!
@7tonothing You are not supposed to hold the notes. Just use the sustain pedal after you hit the D octave, then you can release the keys and hit the F. Release the pedal just before you hit the next D octave, hit the D octave, hold the pedal down, release the keys and hit the F. Same pattern for the next D octave and E.
@MisterMoes i see. ok thankyou. i was wondering because i was thinking "if i use the pedal wouldnt the notes on the right be exended too?" cuz i saw how short they were. they didnt linger at all.... wait.. is the sustain pedal on the right or middle? anyway thanks for responding! and on ur simple and clean (kyle landry) there is a part i am confused with. At 0:29 G is lit but there is no bar. i was thinking maybe you forgot to put a bar? anyway thats when u come in.
@7tonothing Look at Zorsy playing the other promise, you can also see his foot on the pedal. Might be a good idea for you to watch it, because the pedal is used often, and you can see how he uses it. And the G you mention at 0:29 must simply be an error in synthesia, it's supposed to be a bar there, I don't know why synthesia hasn't drawn it.
@MisterMoes hm.... i see... well Zorsy's video does help although its kinda hard to see the pedal. but i can tell she is lifting it a lot. too bad i only play a real piano at my friend's. you know any good keyboard brands you would recommend?
@7tonothing As I explained for 1:08, you hold the pedal down most of the time, and release it when you play a new chord. So when you come to a new measure, you just release the pedal and press it down again. So most of the time, you don't really have to pay attention to the duration of the bars in Synthesia. There are several good brands, but the important is 88 keys (weighted) with a pedal. Go to your local music store and choose what you feel is best to play on, and have the best sound :-)
@Eithan89 Are you kidding me? This is the song from the piano collections, people on youtube play this on the piano. Learn to play the piano, before you come with such statements..
@MisterMoes No, im not kidding. At 0:47 u have to keep pressing those four notes with your left hand, which is impossible because my hand isn't that big.
@Spiritsoulxx How will their hard work be wasted? If anything, this acts as a commercial for Yoko Shimomura and may get people to buy her compositions, both the music albums and sheet music. If no one pays attention to Shimomura's work, why should she bother making another piano collection? Why should anyone bother to hire her to make music? Companies want to make money, and if her music isn't popular, they will simply choose another composer. More people get to know her music = more releases.
Yoko is famous, but how can she get more famous with this YouTube video? People pay money to buy the sheet album and the music, but when they see copy of the song or sheet music flying through Youtube, internet etc. they feel like they wasted their money on something that they can get free, so they'll think 'hey, looks like sheet X of the album is on the internet, bet I can find more of those!'. I would suggest to do previews of the songs, not the whole. This will make the people more curious
@Spiritsoulxx Don't really want to have an argue :-) Just stating my humble opinion, which is that youtube acts as a commercial, if she doesn't exist on youtube, how will people know of her? It's one song out of many, and people who like this, may buy other works from her, including this one. If you have any additional comments you are welcome to send me a pm or just write it here :-) Although I will first answer it tomorrow, as I'm going to bed now. Good Night!

The hard work of Yoko Shimomura and the arrangers will be wasted with this...
