  • OMG!!!! THIS IS WHERE THE SONG "STEAL MY SUNSHINE" GOT IT'S TRACK!!

  • just a good song you can lay back or get up and dance to it

  • I keep hearing the song on the commercial, so I had to listen to the whole thing and let it take me back. I was only 7 in '76, but still remember those days like it was yesterday!

Really cool pics in the video too. Love seeing the Elton John pin ball machine again.

  • The original GREGG DIAMOND extended mix! Great stuff, enjoyed that.

  • From the album Anrea Truw Connection More More More which I so dearly possess on vinuyl man! Andrea Ture lives and I love this song More More MOre each day! Dig it?!

  • @70sman4ever

If you LOVE this record so much (or ANDREA TRUE) you should spell her name right. ;)

  • @Allhallowsday Typing too fast...sorry about that chief! Andrea True, OF COURSE I KNOW HOW TO SPELL!!! Don't be a spaz!

  • @70sman4ever

Well, don't spell her name wrong TWICE, two different ways. King of "spaz". .

  • @Allhallowsday Whatever, I don't need anyone checking my spelling mistakes, JIVE TURKEY!

  • @70sman4ever

I love Andrea Truw too... eh, Andrea Ture... and you hurl out name calling?

Get over it, you made a mistake. Twice. Badly.

At least you have good taste.

  • @Allhallowsday OK whatever, just keep in mind that I did not mispell because I am a bad speller, I was typing too fast! Thanks for your compliment. Peace out!

  • my dumbness is for all world to share.

  • damn honey bunches of oates got me hooked on this song!

  • Disco rules, and Andrea True will live forever man. Fortunately I have this on vinyl man !! You dig it?! Andrea is not dead but very much alive and so is disco!

  • Disco Stu brought me here. Awesome!

  • @poernchen89 haha me too, white stuff

  • American Dad brought me here.

  • RIP Andrea

  • I wish I grew up in the 70's. The 90's sucked.

  • Now for the long-awaited sequel, Gone Gone Gone :(

  • What a fabulous disco sound taking me back to my early teenage years. Sad to see you leave us today Andrea. Rest in Peace.

  • RIP used to love this song, couldn't get enough of it. Bicentennial year 1976.

  • god bless andrea for ginving us a hit that will never die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this was and will be one of the best songs i ever heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was admittedly not a big fan of disco as a genre but also 100% believe there is only two kinds of music: good and bad. And this is really one of the good one. Something about the trumpet and keyboard break at 2:15 always makes me smile, takes me to another place. Never knew the story about her finishing the song in Jamaica until I read the obit this morning. Adios, Andrea, thanks for the memories and the great song.

  • she did a lot of hot porn in the 70's

    RIP Andrea

  • R.I.P., Andrea (Truden).

Somewhere, More, More, More is playing....

  • Rest in peace!!!! Just found out that Andrea passed away on 07NOV11. I have this song on a 45 yo.

  • I was teen when this song made an incredible success in Brazil, and I ever appreciated its powerful pace and arrangement. Some years later, when Disco Era was fading, Andrea True made a show in my town, Santos. Nice memories. Let's make a tribute: let's make it more more more, how she liked it !

  • 5:21-5:29..... Anyone remember Len's Steal My Sunshine? Check the sample.

  • R.I.P Andrea True.

    Will always love your voice.

  • The 'cat on the trumpet' is from the horn section of Mighty Sparrow (Slinger Francisco) a legendary calypso band from Trinidad. The late Gregg Diamond wrote the music and played the piano & percussion on the song. He ran into the Mighty Sparrow there in Jamaica and asked them to play on the song. The rest is history. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for posting the vid. R.I.P. Andrea

  • @proudyke Enrique Moore (saxophone); James Smart (trumpet); Joe Ferguson, Pete Ecklund (horns)

  • RIP Miss Andrea True. We will miss you!

  • Loved this song back in the day. RIP Andrea.

  • RIP Andrea True.

  • @timmy841212 Did Andrea True pass away?

  • @redonejs53 Never mind, I just got it confirmed that she did.

  • Another boat name for the nordhavn!!

  • @74sodapop WOW! You must be young to not know what she was referring to, she was only one of the biggest Adult Entertainers in the early 70's, and this was he one hit! Also during this time, sex was rampant, Andrea was always at Studio 54, this was the time! Takes me back! Youth today don't hit the club as we did back then, they only think they're having fun!

  • every time I hear this song, I want to use cocaine, and dance and have sex all night as well as in Studio 54

  • Takes me back to my Sophomore year in high school...cruising Virginia Street in Reno, NV. Go Colts!!!!

  • more more cowbell.

  • thtis video is good but original video to Andrea is comic

  • be happy and just dance!

  • Real music has horns :)

  • This was music at its best, real band real singing, and she was a prono star.....

  • The 70's & disco were just so much fun. Everyone got along at the discos. Didn't matter your race, gender, sexual preference, political preferences, age etc... everyone was just there to have a great time. I'd relive 1976-1980 the rest of my life! Everyone claimed disco as their own.

  • @chris19046 I agree with you 100%! Those were the BEST five years of music in history! I could also relive them over and over and not get tired of it. Judging by all the comments here on YT, it's amazing how many people feel this way about the disco era...I think it's a universal sentiment. I believe that if today's music industry execs had any common sense, they would bring disco back and stop putting out so much garbage!

  • @chris19046

COUNT ME IN WITH YOU !

  • music sucks these days compared to the 80's and 70's

  • I can't find the chords to this :(((((((((

  • JOE MAX MOORE! HOW DO YOU LIKE HIM?HOW DO YOU LIKE HIM?HOW DO YOU LIKE HIM?

  • Cool song but she can't sing for shit!

  • I didn't know she did porn.

  • disco was not considered gay back then. it was less gay-oriented than hip hop is now. love this song. one of the best disco songs ever.

i always loved 1970s disco with it euro-symphonic sound but the by the late 1980s could not stand most "dance artists" with a few exceptions. once european influences were gone dance music became nothing but homegrown thug urban music.

  • @The096757 agree. problem when listening to too much disco it all seemed to have a "lofty", "light", "mellow" sound too it if you know what i mean. there was no edge to it. i am one who turned to rock and metal and new wave but i always loved disco and also will. it just seemed a femine type song vs what guys were listening too and blasting on the radio.

  • @adult1tube this song was all over the radio summer and spring 1976. everyone loved it from 10 year olds to 40 year olds. what was masculine in 1976 to you ? leo sayer, boz scaggs and steve miller or pinky floyd LOL

too bad andrea didn't stick with this sound. she experimented with reggae like " white witch" and her music tanked and was not heard because of that.

    .

  • @The096757

wow, good on you for such thinly veiled racism. What do you mean by "thug urban music" exactly? Plus, lets not kid, disco-culture, especially early dance clubs was very much a gay phenomenon. Not to put it down of course, because I love disco, but let facts be facts. And the whole "european influences" is garbage - as a matter of fact, the over-produced symphonic quality of certain disco hits is what turned ppl off disco, which became aesthetically bloated and dare i say, corny.

  • @MulletKid

wow are you a stupid reject .

even the word disco in rooted in european dance music. those grotesque ugly black mulattoe hags like mariah carey and paula abul are not just hideously ugly freaks but there pig shit music is almost as bad as hip hop.

with the excepion of anything nile rodgers made the only black artists who were good had whites behind them like donna summer.

  • @The096757

Disco means disk (vinyl), started off as an offshoot of funk, a black phenomenon. Paula Abdul is 100% jewish. Many of your disco favorites loved hip-hop as it started. I think you just don't like black people friend.

  • @MulletKid

discotheque is a european word. you are even more delusional than it appeared. an unwanted reject like you should go back to writing about racism in the gay community. everyone hated rapper's delight in 1979 with a disgust you will never admit. those who run the media will tell people it was liked but it was hated.

    you wrote:

"Disco means disk (vinyl), started off as an offshoot of funk, a black phenomenon... Many of your disco favorites loved hip-hop as it started"

  • @The096757

discotheque: The word is a portmanteau originally coined in the radio business referring to bins used by Radio DJs for the storage of (gramophone) records--(Greek: discos) and storage (Greek: theke, or thèque in French spelling).

The phenomenon of the disco clubs aka discotheques was an american phenomenon, not european. In the beginning, the only disco clubs were either gay or black - research will clearly show that. Sorry there big guy.

  • @MulletKid

i know it's hard to be black in the gay community where white skin is worshiped but it is not a reason to be an idiot like you are.

discos in europe and america were either gay or black? i remember one close to where i lived that was neither. most discos were in europe or the haunts of white people. do you read invented gay history books written by dejected afro americans? you are clearly mentally challenged and simply lookiing to confront someone to validate your existance.

  • @The096757

Im straight and Im white. Its just that Im into music history. Cheers man, dont be so mad at the world!

  • @The096757 -- "the only black artists who were good had whites behind them"-- Parliament-Funkadelic, Earth Wind & Fire, Mandrill, Ohio Players, Billy Preston, Kool and the Gang, Curtis Mayfield, James Brown, and the Isley Brothers are examples of SOME great artists of that era whose work was controlled by black musicians and producers. Distribution, engineering and backup musicians might be another subject but I'm talking about people who had the creative control.

  • @mythillogic KC AND THE SUNSHINE BAND COULDNT ACTUALLY SING THAT HAD BLACK PEOPLE PLAYING INSTRAMENTS AND SINGING KC JUST LIP SANG!

  • @MulletKid

when disco died it was full of black artists like funkadelic ( which were soul/funk acts riding the disco bandwagon) and most white people hated bands like funkadelic and artist like andrea true moved onto new wave. andrea had an album called War Machine relased in 1980s that to this day i still want to buy on cd. you are reallly fabricating some stupid scat. are you really that stupid or just trying to argue? i lived through it and know what was going on back then.

  • @The096757 Thug urban music is as gay as it gets. There's nothing your average black gang-banger loves more in the chokey than to get it on with his cellmates. Latent homosexuality is a big part of the hip hop culture.

  • @The096757 Loved it then and now, best stuff ever...

  • Makes me remember my youth! Good feelin' song : )

  • @oliviaethan Me too though I was still living at home and not allowed to go anywhere I liked then. Life was much simpler then. 1977 was a better year as I broke free and went where I wanted.

  • Yeah, everytime I hear this song may me feel do Cocain, MORE, MORE, and dance,

  • @MrJimmypage32 So what;'s wrong with that man? Shoot it up!!!!!!

  • Thanks for all the good memories Larry. RIP

  • lol @ the description: "I Had No Idea What They Were Referring To.I Thought It Was Maybe About An Ice Cream Cone"

  • i got introduced to this classic watching VH1s run of American Bandstand back in the 90s.. A true classic and awesome song.....

  • RIP Larry Sweeney

  • Rest in Peace Larry Sweeney.

  • @NeptuneNetwork Ridiculously sad. 29!? I was just talking the other day how I thought he'd be a PERFECT heel stable leader in the big leagues. RIP.

  • Man I love the 70s I live them every day and I want MORE MORE MORE you all dig it?!! Oh BTW I have the Andrea Ture Connection More More More on VINYL man!!!

  • 12 people need more more more HARD!

  • Good song to bang too.

  • lotsa memories...Lisa I miss ya babe

  • Bassline to this track is actually pretty sick.

  • To have been able to LIVE the 70s. Some of the greatest rock bands ever, AND disco. It was magical.

  • Do you hear how relatively subtle the arrangement and singing are, compared to most disco songs? Love it :)

  • grax una version mas larga :)

  • tenía tiempo queriendo saber el nombre de la canción, y sin querer la encontré!!!

    me fascina!!

  • Who played the trumpet on this piece? Sounded like Herb Alpert.

  • The picture at 2:10 the girl on the bottom row 2nd from the left looked hot

  • 1976, i was -1

  • That school picture could have been from any school within any state...so typical....brings back many memories!

  • wow i didnt know this singer used to be a porn star now the song makes sense she so cute wanna make any more movies andrea? jajaja

  • she is a pornstar too

  • 2:30

    Steal my Sunshine??? WTF?

  • @yitzchak13 Len sampled the riff from More, More, More.

  • Well 77pintoboy, those you speak of are the UNEDUCATED! I'm a disco era aficionado!

  • Thanks for posting this! I LOVE it!

  • Why the hell is it that everyone thinks just because you listen to disco ,youre gay???? funny cuz i been listenin to it since i was a teen in the 70s and not once,i repeat,NOT ONCE,did i ever feel like a fruit.

  • @77pintoboy Back in the 70's nobody ever thought disco was gay. If anything it was hyper-hetero. Where the gay thing comes in, I have no idea.

  • @77pintoboy and even if you did, what difference does it make?

  • @BigJack101 Well thats just my way of telling the world that i dislike fruits ,not hate, just dislike

  • Massive gay track.

  • Oooooooh, where do you want your love But if you want to know how I really feel Get the cameras rollin' Just get the fuckin goin' Baby, you know my love for you is hard So do me where you want to Me and my innocence you steal More, more, more How do you like it, how do you like it Cum, Cum, Cum Where do you want it, where do you Want it More, more, more How do you like that, how do you like that love Oooh, how do you like that cum! YOU STAND UNCORRECTED!
  • Good song from 70.

  • i remember getting pissed in benidorm listening to this

  • youtube.com/watch?v=8_IusmyWBGk

  • Andrea was a porn star in the 70's as well as a singer. She was my first wet dream!

  • This is so tastefully arranged, unlike most other disco songs. The 6:25 flies by.

  • All those memories! Wow! Makes me young again. WOW...1976!

  • 2:30 I believe I hear the inspiration for Steal My Sunshine!!! <3 doot doot doo

  • @meowkie *hands you a late pass* Haha!

  • 1:02 awsome

  • 1:10 this part should be looped. i could listen to it for days

  • Wow!! what a trip down memory lane, with the old pictures of L.A. I was in the 4th grade, the disco era was great but very mean to the artists due to the fact it was hard to have more than one hit, a few got lucky or were just exceptional musicans and writers, like "Chic" for example. Though it only lasted a short period, disco was very powerful, and those hits will live longer than any of us.. Peace & Love

  • I LOVE this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome...one of my favorite disco songs ever!

  • cool pics. i was in 2nd grade in 1976. great times.

  • Fookin awesum song. 70s, porn, wikkid disco.

  • This song was sampled at 1999, by a group named Len on the song "Steal My Sunshine". This was the first I heard, but then I looked up for the original. Truly amazing!! And real risky, by that time! Love it!!

  • did Andrea True, ever go back to doing Porn after this song came out? I know she had a few other hits after this. I saw an interview with her on VH1 years ago. But always been curious if she went back to doing x-rated movies. always loved this song...true 70s pop/disco

  • andrea true failed to go back doing porn after her third and last album flopped in 1980 because she had difficulty finding one because of her age at 37 yrs. old. after that she permanently retired from singing and also doing porn and lived a private life... too bad... she's now in florida working as an astrologer and counselor at a drug rehabilitation center. she is 67 yrs. old.

  • are you her neighbor? wow. amazing. tell her she's still got fans!!!

  • OOOH :x this is the songggg frommmm Dahmmmerr's movie :x heheee

  • As far as I'm concerned, this is Liberace on piano, the Tijuana Brass, some whore, and a guy from Blue Oyster Cult. Before my time but great stuff.

  • @stonereadzJane lol, good 1, but i do luv this song 2. it was in the begining of one season of "Sex and the City." :)p n nola

  • Girls Alouds version is no where near as good as this.

  • how do you like your eggs?

  • Niiiiiiice!
