The role of media is to be neutral unless otherwise stated. To be apathetic towards our current media's behavior/role and accept it as a fact is the main problem we have in our society. There are those that do not know any better and accept the media as the fair and balance institution it should be. Then there are others who know what the media's role is in a democratic society but ignore its trespasses when it violates that role- as to label it the status quo thus the norm.
