My cat had one much bigger. He felt better after the procedure but the cat he fought gave him feline aids, still miss that cat. Putting him down was hard.
When I was in the Navy we drained cysts form the retired Marines and we were harder on them than they were on Kitty. The marines never used any numbing agents thruout the whole prcedure and they never batted an eye so I am guessing Kitty will be fine.
@pdcarter4598 Probably a fight with another cat. Surface wounds like scratches or bites heal up fast, but can trap infectious matter, which produces pus, resulting in an abcess. Happened to our dog Aiko
@Pupigurl98 It's better that they aggressively treat the infection while the cat is knocked out rather than not get enough put out and have the abscess return
@Pupigurl98 good grief, there's a fucking loser like you on EVERY one of these kinds of videos. Some vet is helping some animal, but some youtube expert like you comes along, and complains because they don't give them a reach-around and a lollipop. Get lost, you're being a fool.
@Pupigurl98 The longer they have to keep the cat under, the higher the likelihood that the general anesthesia will harm it. Gentle takes longer while being slightly more rough will get it done faster with the same thoroughness. The minor soreness that will result from that is a small price to pay.

Music? It's interesting, makes popping an abscess seem epic somehow.

They were gentle and the cat felt nothing. Man poor kitty you had a full order of bloody nacho cheese in your face. I bet he felt better after that.
