In the footage of Daria Nicolodi, as seen in Deep Red, that is NOT her voice at all. That is, however, her real voice voice in the interview she did for this documentary.
I just love John Carpenter praising "Suspiria". I agree with him that it's a great work of art. It will forever be one of the top 10 horror films ever made. A masterpiece.
Let's see, the guy who made the crapfest known as 'Ghosts of Mars' thinks Argento is great. Well, yeah, compared to that abortion of your it was, John.
So you're dismissing John Carpenter's artistic credibility on the basis of one film, completely ignoring achievements like Halloween and The Thing. Romero thinks he's great as well. I suppose of the basis of Bruiser you're goingn to dismiss his opinion as well? Just admit it, you dont care or Argento, it doesn't mean you have to trash him - or watch this documentary, for that matter.
@CTHULHUSURVIVOR You say that like just because someone writes a bad movie, they should be dismissed. Your knowledge of film is obviously poorly developed, and you should keep it to yourself.
@CTHULHUSURVIVOR But Carpenter used to be a really good Director. "Halloween" and "The Thing" are classics. With that being said, I feel that Argento made two good movies ("Suspiria" and Deep Red").
Lets call it what it is -- nepotism. He wouldn't be in the business if his producer relative didn't hand him the director's chair. Dario never had talent for picking or writing a story, never had even an idea of how to use a camera in an innovative way, and he blames his failures on those who don't understand him.
@CTHULHUSURVIVOR Let's call it what it is : Sour Grapes Jealousy ...Why are you even watching this if you feel this way? Becuase you love film and are an utter failure, you try to take away from a great artist's talent...Nice try..LOL
Demoni its not a Dario Argento film...he is the producer....its like saying Nigthmare Before Christmas is a Tim Burton film...they just produced and give te creative idea and consult....Demoni if im not wrong if from Lamberto Bava.
