It doesn't appear from nowhere. It comes from below the sea wall at a high velocity, then arcs -slowing down a bit. Maybe a sliver of seaweed thrown by the waves and wind?

It is very very obvious that whatever it is, it did not come from anywhere....i watched it over and over again but no trail at all. I watched this vid on youtube about a storm in Cape Town. When i noticed the bug, so i copied and cut it to show justthat part......
