Those hoops look like they are "naked" - add some electrical and gaffer tape to them and they will stay up a whole lot better. The tape will help give you traction.
@philohagen Dont add electrical tape its has a cost and its slippy and looks girly...grip tape works better but is expensive and time consuming. Men should keep their hoops plain, but sand them, this provides a lot of grip and is cheap. It also means you can abuse the hoops with back spins without damaging the tape.
