I was at that race and was sitting at the exit of turn 2. This crash happened right in front of us and as Gordon was spinning down the backstretch toward the wall the fans cheered. This was also the race that David Green slid on his side down the frontstretch in the CAT car.
I don't care what anybody says or if I get thumbs down for this-it was Mayfield's fault. Yes, Gordon got loose, but he slid up and out of the way, but Mayfield can't hold the car down on the bottom. So he slides right up into Gordon. No wonder Mayfield can keep a ride.
WHY don't YOU drive in Nascar and tell me in five years if YOU have won more races, have more top 5s and 10s, and a far lower DNF percentage out of career starts than Jeff Gordon? You might be 25, but you have the mentality of a 7 year old.
