  • anyone actually against gay marriage should not be allowed in politics, cuz anyone who spends any part of the day, taking time to stand against someone's sexual preference is just wasting time, and he/she should not be allowed to waste that time on the tax payers dollar...your responsibility is to make this country crime-free, and economically stable...thats IT! So you can stand against gay marriage all you want...how is that relevant to anything?

  • @limetheleamer Funny u should say that, when the ppl said that they didnt want it,gay ppl went to the government for rights.Sooooo now your saying that polititions shouldent get involved?wonder what would happen if it was adam and steve instead of eve?Ohh yea,we wouldent be argueing about it cause we wouldent be here.

  • @cain534 just imagine if it was adam and eve, and Adam just happened to be sterile...who gives a shit...I doubt just cuz a few people are gay, the whole nation will be gay, so really there is no threat to anything...guys are buttfucking eachother somewhere...and girls are sixtynining all the way to squirtsville...GET OVER IT!!!

  • These guys are very ignorant. They are trying to explain the Bible and have no clue what they are saying. Rick Warren admitted that a predisposition to have sex with every beautiful woman he sees - and acting upon this (I think he would say in his mind also) is wrong. He compares this to the predisposition of a gay man to have sex with men. Get the analogy right before trying to tear apart what he did not say.

  • @sethdbeebe

Now see, here's the thing. The underlying issue is that he is basicly saying that those of us that are gay, are gay because we can't control not just where we put our dicks, but with how many we do it with.

I call this an underlying issue because he doesn't come out and directly say this, but it is most definately implied.

Which is one of the many misconceptions about gay people and gay marriage. We wouldn't be seeking marriage if we were sleeping around with every hot guy

  • (woman if you are a lesbian) we meet. Monogomy isn't just a straight or a Christian concept.

  • @sethdbeebe A predisposition to have sex with every beautiful woman is not analogous to a predisposition to have sex with a man. A predisposition to have sex with A woman is, in this context, analogous to a predisposition to have sex with a man.

  • "I'm genetically predisposed to have sex with every woman I see."

Maybe YOU are, Rick, but most men have limits.

  • Comment removed

  • @Ongarukat He said with every BEAUTIFUL woman he sees, not every women. All straight men are genetically predisposed to have sex with women we find attractive.

  • biologically gay? smh i done heard it all

  • These news dude are fucked up.

  • why cant i stone someone for the love of god...the bible tells me so

  • And... I thought shaving wasn't allowed for Nazarenes, those that take special vows to become God's elect in the old testament. Correct me if I'm wrong please :]

  • I think what makes homosexuality such a difficult topic to discuss is because it's such a personal thing...

Yes all those things you talked about is sin in the Bible... But as Rick said, it's about struggling with our natural ("sinful") impulses. In the Bible it states it as "putting death to sin through the power of the Holy Spirit." This is very simplified, but the main point is, Christians can't address sexuality unless we tell gays to try not to be gay...

It puts Christians in a tough spot

  • Christians do not want to limit anyone's human rights or personal dignity. On the contrary, Christians want to see our society advance and become fairer and more equal. We are concerned with the well being of our society and more than anything want to see all people come to a perfect understanding of self and freedom from any manner of spiritual bondage by the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. who is above everything else in all creation

  • What sin?

  • I really appreciate the fact that you show who Rick really is but you shouldn't use that against him. It is obvious that he is fake but insulting him makes you to sin too and you are not really different.

    BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!

  • Most gay people I know are more monogamous than most married people I know.

  • he doesn't have sex with beautiful women because he is a closeted gay....and repulsive

  • God, I hate TYT.....good job twisting up scripture...

  • @Autumn6 scripture does a great job twisting itself up.

  • "look how far Christianity has come" The bible does not change and Christianity shouldn't either. Homosexuality may be genetic but it's wrong, That is what Rick Warren is saying. The doctrine of original sin is old and makes intuitive sense with the bible. The bible says homosexuality is wrong and that all sin is forgivable and it's that simple.

  • These fucking religious zealots need to stop bitching about gay relationships. There is no Gods no omnipotent being. Just stop bothering everybody.

  • You don't get put in jail for sinning "in your heart".

  • where does he get this from?

  • Another one who dosen't know the bible from a hole in the ground picking out convenient versus so out of context to a man who has forgotten more about the WORD than all his (he called Warren this?) fat behind knows or ever encountered.

Instead of using it to hurt yourself i.e. entrap someone -- go use it to save yourself!

  • i really dont like how people use the whole "stoning to death" thing as "we should do that now"

Jesus' sacrifice means we dont have to do that anymore, also the "dont cut your hair" stuff is about the jews in particular so they stood out, just like circumcision and the kosher stuff.

I am a christian and i look at women sinfully here and there, not every woman, and most days none at all. It's not instant death every time you do, but the wages of sin is death, luckily Jesus paid our wage

  • @aqualieutenant you're shopping for bits you agree with and ignoring those you don't, which in turn means you claim to know better than god. Note I'm an Atheist, so I would find using the bible as an authority on anything to be pointless. But if you do consider it to be god's message or word, you should follow all of it and not selectively. 'Jesus' sacrifice means we dont have to do that anymore' That's one interpretation, you could also wonder why Jesus said 'until the earth has come undone etc

  • @malikzzzzz YOU need to worry about YOUR Bible knowledge (or lack thereof). Don't assume that people have "never opened one", just because their views aren't EXACTLY like yours. You are knocking fellow-Christians for not being "your special kind" of TRUE Christian. That's rather obnoxious, not to mention self-absorbed of you!

Your "faith" has turned you into a regular stinker; or were you born that way? I bet people prefer seeing you leave to greeting you. Are you getting along with others?

  • Mark 10:11-12 Whoever shall divorce his wife, and marry another, commit adultery. And, if a woman shall divorce her husband and marry another, commit adultery. So, why does the Church not have a problem with this, when they're trying to protect marriage? Hypocrites! You pick and choose what to stand on, but you do not stand on all. And in this you think you please God by condemning Gay people! He that said, do not steel, also said, do not murder! And, sin is sin! And NONE of us are WITHOUT!

  • Read 1 Timothy 1:9-11 in the King James Version. The word homosexuality is not in there. People need to stop acting like the English translations are the original scrolls. Again, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 The word homosexual is not there. Romans 1 is not talking about two people of the same sex loving one another, and loving one another monogamously. There is not an English word for every Greek word or any other language.

  • If anyone is using the bible to oppose same-sex marriage, they should fight for the right to stone adulterous women and a load of other ridiculous things. Check: Betty Bowers Explains Traditional Marriage to Everyone Else

  • @thomaseshuis oppose same-sex marriage, oppose being the key-word.

    1. A lot of christians don't like it because it makes them want to vomit

    2. Most rational christians do not think stoning is the answer (its called mercy)

    3. We all know that no-one could stone any adulterous person, gay person or rebellious teen. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" "We ALL have sinned and gone astray" Jesus died for our sin

    4. The fact that homosexuality is a "stoneable offence" makes it a sin

  • @aqualieutenant 1. Not a valid argument. People who smoke, make we uncomfortable, but as long as they do not harm I would never try to forbid it. 2. Most rational Christians realise the bible is written by men and therefore flawed. 3. If so, why be against homosexuality or marriage equality, since it has al been forgiven already. 4. Could be. But then eating shellfish is also a sin, as is wearing clothing of mixed fabric. My point is you either believe the bible to be one and true, or ...

  • @thomaseshuis

i didnt mean that these are the reasons i oppose it.

i meant these are the reasons it is opposed, some christians are ignorant and aggressive and self-righteous. The reverse is also true to some extent.

Christianity in my view is really just about bettering yourself and attempting to shut out as much sin from your life as you can while understanding your attempts are futile and accepting Jesus' gift to us.

  • @aqualieutenant I have nothing against Christians in general, just those who try to force their religion on the rest of society, or worse try to promote division and hate in the name of their god. Same for other religions. 'attempting to shut out as much sin from your life as you can while understanding your attempts are futile' Isn't this counter-productive and a waste of energy? Not meant as an insult, just asking.

  • @thomaseshuis no its rewarding.

you feel cleaner and more certain you're doing the right thing, it's hard to explain.

but heck when you ask for a timed interval of rain and you get your timed interval of rain. you dont stop believing in the face of anyones arguments. regardless the doubts they place on your sanity, im 17 i havent smoked or drunk and i asked for rain for 3 seconds, and it rained for 3 seconds. not weatherman would be able to predict that

i dont force on anybody, its rude.

  • @aqualieutenant 'you feel cleaner and more certain you're doing the right thing' That's your opinion and you're free to feel that way. But don't automatically assume this applies to everyone. 'If you can make this happen 24/7 whenever you want and proof it to me, you might get me to doubt. But since that's highly unlikely I don't think I ever will. 'i dont force on anybody' Good then I hope you want meddle in the private love lives of other people either.

  • @thomaseshuis

bro, im not going to prove anything to you, its not my job.

If i could make it happen 24/7 im sure it would get to my head and i wouldnt need faith anymore, plus i would feel God's equal. And, since i am not God's equal and the power WOULD get to my head, the wiser choice of only sparing it to me once seeemed more appropriate.

God probably wouldn't allow me to do that on camera, while i am claiming it as MY DOING, since it isnt. or when im just doing it for fun. hes not amused

  • @aqualieutenant I'm not going to continue this discussion, because you seem to be a tolerant religious person, unlike many others here on you tube. I don't want to get into a heated debate about proof and logical fallacies.

  • @thomaseshuis hold up did you make a typo, or did you complement me?

  • @thomaseshuis wanna talk about Assassins Creed, because the height of sublety is stabbing your family's enemy several times in the chest while shouting your full name and the town you came from in front of a huge crowd.

  • @aqualieutenant 'wanna talk about Assassins Creed ... in front of a huge crowd' What are you trying to say with this comment? I like Assassins Creed, byt I don't understand what you mean by this comment.

  • @thomaseshuis im saying assassin's are all about silent killing (secret santa but all the gifts are death) and Ezio in number two stabs that first traitor dude in the chest like 4 times then yells his full name and city of birth.

while this whole crowd is just standing there.

not exactly subtle is it. im hyper sometimes and i has fun

  • @aqualieutenant No, he's not exactly subtle, or smart (letting targets get a head start on him half the time). But I don't think people would appreciate it if we make this thread about AC instead of the video. Good day to you!

  • @thomaseshuis

lol it just had here in the comment section "respond to this video" i had no idea your comment was a video, nice job youtube.

Just because it has been forgiven doesn't make it permissible, they aren't the same thing.

If you murder someone and go to jail, then return to society, somewhat forgiven can you assume that you have been permitted to murder and you should do it again given the whim?

  • @aqualieutenant 'it just had here in the comment section "respond to this video" i had no idea your comment was a video, nice job youtube.' I don't understand what you're trying to say here. My comment was just text, not a video. My point is, if all your sins have al ready been forgiven that implies that god already knows what sins you are going to commit. Therefore there is no free will and only the illusion of choice between sin or no sin.

  • @thomaseshuis welll, in the comment box just below your comment, it said "Respond to this video..."

    i was amused.

I will admit my friend, i do not know. im to understand that you would like to be in control of your own fate and so would I. I believe God lays before us our choices and the resultant paths from these choices, he already knows because he exists outside of time. He does not make you do anything nor are you set to do anything, some people appear to given "spiritual pushes" though

  • @aqualieutenant 'he already knows because he exists outside of time.' If he already knows, then he had also foreseen the original sin and any other sinful choice mankind would make, meaning he could have prevented it by not creating us in the first place, or not creating sin. Either that or he's not omnipotent.

  • @thomaseshuis

he created good and bad so he could allow you to have a choice, far out. if you built something would you get tired if it only did exactly as you wanted it to? look at the SIMS, i always leave Free Will mode on.

How would you know grace if you never needed it?

How could you know Good if you never knew Evil?

you know how that goes im sure. you cant have one without the other or you wouldnt care

  • @aqualieutenant 'If you murder someone ..... you should do it again given the whim?' This is a flawed comparison. In the legal world one does not get forgiven for wrongs he/she has yet to commit. Christians do according to your believes. On smoking, I know it is harmful to me. But as long as people do it in the privacy of their own home I would never forbid it. I do think it should be illegal in public though, because it's almost like deliberately poisoning innocent bystanders.

  • @thomaseshuis ok admittedly it was a rash comparison, its 3:19 AM here. and it was about 2 last time.

though these past few days ive been at my most active in these times,

Ok, lets say your wife (as we are all partnered with God) says "honey i really wish you wouldnt sleep with other women, but ill forgive you and welcome you home if you do anyway, obeying me would just make me happy" Is it ok for you to commit adultery, ask yourself if you care about this person, there's your answer.

  • @aqualieutenant I understand, I'm not always at 100% either when I comment. 'Is it ok for you to commit adultery, ask yourself if you care about this person, there's your answer.' Sorry to say, but this is also a logical fallacy. If you really love a person you would not sleep with other persons in the first place, regardless if you would be forgiven or not. Anyway, I'm an atheist so to try and convince me of the 'wrong' of homosexuality, true biblical sources is pointless. continued ....

  • @thomaseshuis if you loved God you wouldn't believe in other Gods.

Or put yourself above God or in place of God.

Or put anything as ranking better than God or more important than God.

and im sure its obvious to everyone that homosexuality is wrong, they just lie to themselves, read 1984 by George Orwell and learn about DOUBLETHINK.

  • @aqualieutenant 'they just lie to themselves' Every major psychological and medical association disagrees with you. 'would you get tired if it only did exactly as you wanted it to' This is why I wanted to end the debate and yes I did give you a complement. With this passage you admit that god is sadist as he likes to see people struggle with sin. Why else create such terrible things as murder, rape etc. if he loves human kind? Anyway as I said I do not want to have this discussion with you.

  • @thomaseshuis hmmm... not really what i meant with that, but im not going to push it

  • @aqualieutenant You're free to believe what you want, just stay out of other peoples love lives.

  • @thomaseshuis

    and of course smokers harm

  • Rick Warren Is a Closeted Heretic!

  • Is there really any proof in bible that being gay is a sin? Last time i checked I only saw adultery.

  • @thenicholashuber 1 Timothy 1:9-11 9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

  • @wajanaporn Based on god's views on other matters, such as slavery (see Exodus 21:20-21 for example) and child execution, he's shown himself to be incompetent to give an opinion on matters of morality.

  • @wajanaporn 'homosexuality' This word is not in the bible.

  • @thenicholashuber Leviticus 18:22, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Romans 1:26-27

  • @phatzky Your right it is a sin to be gay.

  • If Jesus said "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her" (John 8:7), that he who has not participated in adultery with her shall cast the first stone. If he meant that you should not punish any sinner for any crime, then this would prove him wrong for punishing the money changers doing usury in the temple and him punishing any other sin including the sin of not being a believer. So this is an obvious lie. Jesus came to restore the law, which includes punishing sodomy.

  • that he who is without sin should cast the first stone. However these infiltrators purposefully confuse this teaching by saying it shows mercy as the new law. This is a complete perversion and obvious lie against the actual moral of the story, which is that if you are accusing the prostitute of adultery then you must have evidence and unless you are without sin, meaning unless you have had fornicated with her then you can cast the first stone, but then comes the burden of evidence.

  • The problem that Christians face is this infiltration of their churches by "New Age", Illuminati, Freemason types that have a specific agenda on record that can be referenced that they seek to destroy Christianity from within citing such things as the story of the prostitute being brought before Jesus and the people asking him if they should follow the law of God revealed by Moses which punishes the crime of adultery by stoning to death and Jesus saying in response that he who is without sin

  • Heteros are responsible of overpopulation which cause the destruction of natural resources and the ecological disaster. Heteros proliferate like harmful and deadly Viruses.

Heterosexuals lead a vicious and filthy lifestyle. They commit most crimes and rapes. Heteros are murderers, serial killers, rapists and serial rapists.

Heterosexuals are child abusers. They use children to hide their vices and perversions.

  • R. Polanski raped a 13 yr old girl and escaped justice. DSK is accused of assaulting sexually a woman and attempting to rape her. DSK was the director of IMF.

Heteros perpetrate 55 millions abortions each year. Heteros are the greatest murderers.

Heteros waste millions of dollars each yr by marrying, divorcing, marrying and divorcing again and again.

To prevent all those problems and ills, heterosexuality should be banned and criminalized.

  • The young Turkeys lol

  • the guy on the right is an idiot. I am no defender of Rick Warren, but hey, let's not twist what he said.

He said that he was wired to have sex with every good looking woman on the planet, but that doesn't mean that he should follow his impulses. Every man is wired to have multiple sex partners, this is part of the consequence man suffers because of adam's rebellion to God, and his subsequent depraved vile nature.

  • Rick Warren knows what God thinks. I'm convinced.

  • So gays wouldn't be demanding marriage if they were mostly promiscuous....??

Wrong again dummy on the right. The cock-suckers will be demanding you to like them as gay men or you'll be considered intolerant for that too in a few years.

  • Dumb asses trying to be in the bible once a year and critisizing a pastor.

    Same old lefty bs.

  • I absolutely agree with Pastor Rick, Let just GOD be the judge...!!

  • in terms of stoning these guys dont know what they are talking about... the are interpreting a bible passage out of context.. In other words they lack of knowlege to interpret the bible...it is true that in Jesus' time adultery was punished by execution;however, Jesus was againts that... HE himself forgave a prostitude who was about to be killed...

  • @edi3love THANK YOU!!! And the Leviticus stuff was to the jews from thousands of years ago. They needed a bigger population because if they had a bunch of gays, the population goes down, and their group has less of a chance of surviving. Now I see overpopulation. Therefore that bible passage no longer applies. Now, if a primitve tribe like in South America banned gays, thats fine. But for civilized people its not. Germany has a population goin down, but still are very tolorent toward gays.

  • Is God Real?

  • @nojokenygren Let's rephrase that. Is an invisible man in the sky that made the earth 6000 years ago and created the humans to live peacefully with the dinosaurs and created the plants before the sun and created the earth before the sun a real person? Yeah he's real so is my imaginary friend Bill over here.

  • @batistaker123 Hahaha that was prefect. . .

  • Gay people are not asking for tolerance. Tolerance implies that one is tolerant while the other is tolerated. It maintains two different classes of people. In equality, tolerance becomes redundant.

In a society where all are equal, tolerance is no longer required, as no one is above or below another.

Equality will win. Stop promoting second class citizenship for gays by asking for tolerance. Gays are neither superior nor inferior, so they need no tolerance nor do they seek to tolerate.

  • the bottom line is god made adam and eve not adam and steve !

  • @tobroke2007 EXACTLY PRAISE ALLAH MY BROTHER!

  • @tobroke2007 That's right. The anunnaki are responsible for creating us through their DNA manipulation technology.

  • Thanks for saying, "read the whole Bible." Tool bad you missed it. Stoning, should be applied to Anyone do to sin? Only in the Old testament time, and only in Israel. I guess you guys missed that, right?

Is homosexuality a sin, yes, as you stated, but so everything else? ok, is everything els called an abomination and said in the age of grace (the New Testament) worthy of death? Homosexuality is!

  • "In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire." (Jude 1:7)

You have been warned, perverts of America! You will suffer soon. You are the downfall of once Great America. Judgment against America has started and there is no turning back.

But God bless the righteous ones in America. You are sealed with the Holy Spirit.

  • @loloyungti agreed!!!!!

  • God will make the wisdom of man into foolishness. That's what is happening with this biological garbage. We allow science to define our faith. We allow it to give us excuses and throw verses out of the Bible. Just like global warming though? We're told that the earth is getting warmer, yet the numbers show nothing like that, but so called science "proves" it. God will judge this world, and it's not going to be pretty. Believe in what you want America, you'll pay for it later.

  • An hermaphridite is only an hermaphridite because it is a choice, not something someone was born like. That is impossible, because God created Adam and Eve.

  • @MrBiblicalscholar You sound super dumb, its called, BEING BORN WITH A COCK AND A VAGINA,

    whor you to judge?

  • “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” (Jude 1:18)

“‘Woe! Woe, O great city, O Babylon, city of power! In one hour your doom has come!’

  • @loloyungti There have always been scoffers who follow their own ungodly desires. Calm the fuck down, wingnut.

  • rick warren and his ilk have been whats wrong with christianity for a few thousand years jesus said there were fakers and heres a big one. and so are so many of the others. they use misdirection and smoke and mirrors, he's a disgusting pig.

  • What bulldust from ignoramus FYT - this senseless illogical nonsense is form people who purport to be intelligent - come on - go eat your burger and watch a game - numbskulls

  • I put up new videos on my site. I pray that they bless the hearts of honest and sincere ones before Jesus Christ.

God knows we need honesty and truth today with love and understanding first and foremost in Jesus Name!

  • @MyHunnyBunnyNora this is true . so these bible thumping nut jobs meed to stop bearing false witness. and stop choosing scripture that doesnt jibe with what jesus taught

  • Real Christians know that Gays can go to heaven just as easily as you can. Real Gay Christians know that they are just as much a Christian as you are. Isn't this wonderful!

  • ill-willed man who is equivalent to a person who watches another man walk into a building that is about to blow up, who knowing full well that the building will explode, says nothing to warn the man whatsoever. Silence in this scenario is definitely evil. Katto, the building is going to explode! (To clarify what I said earlier, the human mind is not the determinant of truth, merely the mode of discerning it. Truth is outside of the mind and remains a constant even if we were never born).

  • He said he is naturally inclined to have sex with EVERY BEAUTIFUL WOMEN HE SEES... so, if the lady interviewing him thinks he wants to have sex with her, maybe she is flattering herself? Perhaps, he doesn't think shes beautiful? :-)

  • I have posted videos on the sickness and ugliness of heterosexuality. Watch them, they are revolutionary.

  • Homophobes are Rapists

Rape means sexual relations with a person against his or her will and consent. For sex to be good and valid there must be mutual consent.

Homophobes want to force heterosexual sex on gay people , that is they want to make gay people adopt and engage in hetero sex without their consent and their free will. This forced heterosexuality is equal to rape because gay people are not consenting to adopt hetero lifestyle and engage in hetero sex.

  • @thewestsideone Dude, don't put an error to Christianity because of this man...Not all of us think like that... If you have any questions, some of us are willing to answer and do our best to help you...

  • @padrigscorner instead he should base it off the westboro baptist church

  • 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

    2 Corinthians 4: 3-5

  • Stick to broadcasting and stay away from hermeneutics.

  • I'm bisexual. I have known love with both men and women. I met the love of my life and we were married. Their gender doesn't matter. I completely agree with Mr Warren, that the question of whether I was born this way or not is irrelevant. It doesn't matter one bit.

Being "born this way" doesn't justify my life. MY LIFE DOESN'T NEED ANY FUCKING JUSTIFICATION!!

The issue isn't that gays and bisexuals "Don't have a choice". The issue is that there isn't anything immoral about love.

  • christians should be the most open and tolerant people around. now tolerance by definition is not throwing stones at people you disagree with but that doesn't mean that you can't tell them they are very wrong in no uncertain terms (in an open and loving manor) that's kind of what you (youngturk) just did. I disagree with this man and hears why... so, why do you have a problem with a christian standing up for christian values that are biblical. just b/c you can get married doesn't mean you should

  • @RedLetterChristian real Christians know that God loves all people including homosexuals. But real Christians know that God hates homosexuality and homosexual acts. Real Christians also know that God sent Jesus to die for our sins and to free us from sin. Homosexuals can be believed from sin just like anyone who is hung up and control by any sin. lying, adultery, murder, drugs, booze, etc, etc.

  • @MrBuster128 I agree. This is biblical. I harbor no hatred for any sinner, but I will warn someone of their transgression.. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I am in as big of trouble as ANY person who transgresses the perfect law of God. Homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of God. It doesn't matter what we as individuals believe regarding God's laws. There is freedom and forgiveness for ALL of us in Jesus Christ.

  • @MrBuster128 Equating someone else's nature with "sins" like murder is just plain wrong. Did you not listen to this video?? The Book of Matthew says that if a man looks on a woman lustfully, that he has committed adultery in his heart. The penalty for adultery was death by stoning or denial of entry into the "kingdom of heaven", depending on which part of the buy bull you read. Thought control is just plain impossible. Your god is an inept communicator and Warren is a crook/hypocrite.

  • @richwfd2002 Re read ur own words. It does NOT say they commit adultery it says they commit adultery in his heart. Meaning all sin comes from thought first and then CHOOSING to act on that sin. Stop quoting from the Bible it does NOT help you it just shows how little you understand it reinforcing why your in the condition you are in now.

  • @MrBuster128 yep and lets make sure that big brother reich wing can read our thoughts and slaughter millions more in gods name.. even jesus said there will be many who come in my name but he knows them not.. and i think that describes the current church.. perfectly

  • @richwfd2002 Wow. Is English your native language? You're playing semantics now. The bottom line is that you base your beliefs on an ancient book of hearsay and superstition because of fear, and that's what these crook preachers want you to do. Just because you have succumbed to emotional blackmail, do not expect others to do the same.

  • @MrBuster128 that's exactly the point that I was making.

  • @MrBuster128 i agree with you.

  • @RedLetterChristian should be yes, but they arent

christians and other religious cult members are some of the most closed minded and intolerant people out there

  • you are just not listening to the argument which is when you grow up you don't get to do everything you want to do. just like single people shouldn't be having sex, neither should people of the same sex. the difference here is that once married hetero couple can have sex and a gay couple can't. sex is a privilege it's not a right. lastly we all fall short of perfection but we should strive toward it and when we fail there's these things called forgiveness and grace which is undeserved merit.

  • @RedLetterChristian Sex is a privelege, not a right? Hahaha good one.

  • @RedLetterChristian "sex is a privilege it's not a right."

Sex is a biological imperative. You're a moron. And I seriously have to wonder who the fuck you think you are trying to tell other people how to live their lives.

  • @KattoTang This is a question of authority. Do you believe the Bible to be God's authoritative Word? If you do, then you should have no problem being told how to live your life. Understandably the heart is proud and doesn't want to be told what to do, even by God. A terrible flaw of mankind. I'm assuming you do not believe the Bible authoritative. Have you checked out the wealth of evidence out there? I recommend you do b/c the Bible has been set up to be objectively verified by the

  • @BrandNewMouse fulfillment or non-fulfillment of prophecy. 27% of the Bible contains specific, pin-point prophecies on hundreds of different events, written hundreds of years before their fulfillment. Such as the exact date in time the Messiah would die, the exact manner of death even centuries before crucifixion was invented, to the rebirth of Israel as a nation (fulfilled in 1948, May 14th), the resurrection of the Messiah, etc. The Bible stands against all informed scrutiny. It is truth.

  • @BrandNewMouse

There is no empirical evidence for the Bible.

Most every major historical event in the Bible is also recorded in other religions and cultures, and is only proof that they happened, not that they were caused by any one deity or that any deity exists.

Your holy book is no more truthful than any other in the world. Your religion is no more correct. It is simply what you choose to believe. And it should apply to no one other than yourself.--

  • @KattoTang Side note: empirical: "provable or verifiable by experiment." Notice that the theory of evolution isn't empirical. There are many scientists today offering major cash rewards for anyone who can find empirical evidence for macro evolution. I agree that it is impossible to claim that the Bible is true beyond the shadow of a doubt, just as it is impossible for you to claim what you're saying is true beyond that shadow of a doubt. But truth is not dependent on a mind for its

  • @KattoTang assertions. Whether or not you and I think something in no way determinant to it's truthfulness. Truth is a correspondence between a belief and the reality of that thing believed (philosophy 101). So either you're right, or I am, but away with any nonsense that says "What's true for me is true for me, and what's true for you is true for you." That theory is an utter fallacy (I can explain why if you'd like). Therefore, there are reasons to believe in the Bible above all other

  • @KattoTang idelogies out there (such as new age theories or evolutionary theories) and definitely more plausible and significant reasons to believe the claims of the Bible BASED UPON the evidence. There are ways to accepting and rejecting theories and/or religions based on its claims. If you know how to do such research you will find that the Bible withstands your scrutiny and more likely than not its claims are true. I am writing an essay on such things and if you like I can email it to you.

  • @KattoTang Furthermore, you are saying what a person should or should not do. You are making an absolute claim to truth and telling me absolutely I should not tell people what they should do. Your logic is bad because you're saying that I shouldn't do the very thing that you're doing to me. Your claim is actually a form of relativism and we all know that relativism is simply bad thinking. I care for you and want you to know God, that's why I bother to argue such important issues. Much love~

  • @BrandNewMouse

I said you shouldn't feel you have the right to tell others how to live their lives. As in, making your opinion a law and forcing others to follow your personal choices. Reading comprehension much?

I did not bring up evolution nor did I claim my opinions are truths, so what is your point? Making assumptions doesn't make you look smart, it makes you look like an ass.

Your fallacies are ridiculous and your long-winded 'arguments' are laughable. Learn to not be a bigoted moron.

  • @KattoTang Either your opinion is true or false. Which is it? You did indeed make a claim that your opinion is true. You told me I "shouldn't feel..." and you "have no right to tell others how to live their lives. If you cannot accept that, then you are a failure..." But you're telling me how to live my life (e.g. don't tell you to repent). Your argument is that I shouldn't tell you "how to live your life" (repent) but I should not feel that I have no right to tell you to believe in Christ.

  • @KattoTang By the way, I'm not telling you to follow my opinions. I'm saying that the God of the Bible commands all men everywhere to repent and turn to Jesus Christ. So your problem is with the authority of Scripture. Either the Bible is true or it's false but it cannot be both and it cannot depend on the human mind to determine the truthfulness of it (philosophy 101). I'm claiming that the Bible stands up against all 26 other religious texts and if compared in a court room scenario

  • @KattoTang an honest and intelligent man would conclude that the Bible is true. Do you know how to go about doing such an investigation? If not, I can help you a bit, maybe point you in the right direction. I care for you KattoTang, that's why I bother. I'm sorry for offending you but I'm not sorry for the truth. If the claims of Christ are true, and for you I understand this is a big "if" then I must tell you to repent and trust in Christ. Anything less of that would convict me as an evil

  • @KattoTang To clarify what I said in my earlier post, this is what I mean: you emphatically declare that I should not tell you what to do, and then you proceed to tell me what to do. Yet the entire basis of your argument is that I should not tell you what to do. It's self-refuting, friend. You say that if I "cannot accept that, then [I'm] are a failure to the human race." You owe it to yourself to consider the evidence for the Bible's claims. I recommend "The Case for Christ," by Lee Strobel.

  • @BrandNewMouse

"But you're telling me how to live my life (e.g. don't tell you to repent)" -- I never told you not to tell me anything. I told you that neither you nor anyone else should feel they have the right to impose their beliefs on others by way of law. Which is what you Bible-thumpers do nowadays with the American government.

There's supposed to be a separation of church and state, and yet people feel they can just deny rights to people based on their prejudices, so there isn't.

  • @BrandNewMouse

Shouldn't you be worrying about more important things in the world than people you don't even know wanting to do whatever with someone else who happens to share certain physical attributes as them?

Apparently love is a horrible, horrible thing to you.

    And:

    "commands all men"

Woo, sexism! I'm not even a guy.

And you keep assuming. I don't even know what I'm supposed to repent for. Are you assuming I'm gay? I've never had sex with another woman. I just think you're full of shit.

  • @BrandNewMouse

Regardless what you believe, despite what anyone claims any deity might say in their little outdated book, no human should feel they have the right to dictate the lives of others. You wanna believe in a god and follow what that god says? Fine, good for you. But that doesn't mean anyone else has to. Such is the power of free will.

You are not a god and you have no right to tell others how to live their lives. If you cannot accept that, then you are a failure to the human race.

  • @BrandNewMouse Care to cite any chapters and verses to support your claims? You haven't done that here because you cannot without twisting the words to fit the "prophecies".

  • @richwfd2002 Certainly. Psalm 22:15-17 speaks of Messiah's crucifixion almost 1,000 years before it's invention. Daniel 9:25-26 speaks of the Messiah (Anointed One) coming before the destruction of the temple (sanctuary). Since the temple's was destroyed in 70 A.D. it follows that Messiah should have already come. If you're willing to check it out, that scripture starting at verse 24 also states that Messiah would put an end to sin would come in 33 A.D. This is just the tip of the ice berg.

  • @richwfd2002 Isaiah 44:28-45:1 states Cyrus as coming king of Persia would allow Israel to return from exile more than a hundred years before Cyrus was even born. Daniel 2:37-42 speaks of the Babylonian, Persian, Grecian, and Roman empires coming into power back when Babylon was the world power. Daniel 11 is quite remarkable really, here check out this commentary ucg.org/booklets/ME/fourempires.asp

  • @BrandNewMouse more from the churches rewriting after the fact..

  • @BrandNewMouse Prove it.

  • @BlckSbthMan Read it.

  • @KattoTang Sex IS a privilege. it is NOT a right! first, you need 2 consenting adults (preferably married). next the human species could carry on surprising well if well over half the population of the earth never ever had sex ever. there is enough people out there to guarantee the survival of mankind. then there are conserns about overpopulation, hello china/india/pakistan/ect. Lastly if you've ever been to a bar then you will know that there are many, many people having sex that shouldn't be

  • @RedLetterChristian It's three weeks after the fact. A little advice: Don't be a thread necromancer.

Also, once I again, I never said sex was a right. I said sex is not a privilege. Sex is a biological imperative. It happens, generally for pleasure and bonding. What does the population have to do anything? That would be an argument against not having babies, rather than not having sex. Most sexual encounters aren't occurring to reproduce, so whatever point you tried to make is moot.

  • Comment removed

  • @KattoTang first off when someone replys to a comment i make and they are clearly wrong and i reply to said wrongness, that's my perogative as it is yours. next you don't need to have sex to survive that was the point of my post. you need water, food, love, shelter. these things you need. you do not need sex to survive in any way shape or form, being that the species has over 6 billion people and we are at the top of the food chain. so clearly sex is not a biological imperative.

  • @KattoTang okay katto how should people live their lives. but just know that if you are an atheist or an agnostic you can't tell anyone anything moral,(you can but you'd just be spouting hot air)including that i'm wrong, because what those paradimes are missing is an absolute object/truth (that is outside of your person)to use as a benchmark from which to measure good and bad. if you don't have this everything you say is relative. you can still be moral but you can't back anything moral you say.

  • @RedLetterChristian Thread necromancer!

First off, I'm not atheist or agnostic.

Secondly, I think you mean "paradigm", and nothing you say is absolute truth. There is no such thing. Morals are formed more by society than by your so-called "god".

I'll humor you, I do feel people should try to pursue happiness in their lives. I don't know what morals have to do with anything--it's only necessary to follow the law. And if they don't want to, that's their choice; they'll pay the price eventually.

  • @KattoTang first if you aren't an atheist or agnostic then you are at theist, what flavor? next what I am saying is that absolute truth needs to exist for us to be able to say that this or that is wrong or right morally. now i didn't say that "i" was speaking absolute truth but i did make a truth claim. next so you would back a pedophiles right to persue sex with children, after all he's just persuing happiness in his life? (just so long as he doesn't get caught) what if they never gets caught?

  • @RedLetterChristian I'm done humoring you. You're a fucking moron.

Especially considering you Godwin'd in another comment to someone else.

Take your fallacies and your "absolute truth" elsewhere. Better yet, just shove them right up your ass.

  • @KattoTang i have no problem with you not humoring me, but it would seem that you do have a problem with logic conserning morality and how one determins if somthing is either good or evil.this is not my problem. however if you would like to check out what thinking people say about god. an excellent place to start would be here.

    youtube.com/user/CartesianTheist#p/u

he has some good uploads and many good playlists that I'm sure you will find interesting. or you could stay ignorant on the matter

  • @RedLetterChristian I have a problem with people twisting words, using fallacies, and spreading bigotry.

Morality is not logical because morality is entirely subjective, and nothing is black and white. And you're not logical either. If you cannot admit that there is no "absolute truth" and that you could be wrong because you're only human and therefore cannot possibly know for sure what's out there, then you're imbecilic and close-minded.

  • @KattoTang first explain exactly how i twist words, use fallacies or spread bigotry? Next, morality is subjective, therefore if you want to say something that is a moral judgement (ie. You should blank) and not have that statement be only an opinion you need to find something outside of yourself to appeal to that will back your statement. Without absolute truth (the Christian God) as a benchmark on the spectrum of good/evil then EVERYTHING is relative and can be justified or dismissed.

  • @KattoTang you need absolute truth to ascribe worth to an item or living being. for an example of this a store owner tells you that a cupcake costs $2.50 and you pay that amout if absoulte truth does exist. if absolute truth does not exists then you could say well that's nice but i think it's only worth $1 and the shop keeper would have to accept that as payment for his cupcake b/c his price point is only his opinion. you don't have to cover your costs to sell somthing.

  • @RedLetterChristian Prices of items change constantly.

Worth of living beings cannot be measured.

Hey, hey. Here's an idea. Blow it out your ass.

  • @RedLetterChristianYour one sided view means you are blowing hot air because you are just showing us one side of a vastly multi-dimensional argument. Think of all the other religions in the world- can you say that they are wrong? People don't need this 'external benchmark' of morality becuase that can come from within; if it comes from your personal views that you have developed, surely that is a stronger moral compass than following something that you have been taught.

  • @Becythebooshizzle first, yes i can just as you are doing. second, yes, you do otherwise EVERYTHING is COMPLETELY RELATIVE always. this means everything you say is just your opinion and that is all it is period. you can't even say that this (x) is right b/c society says so b/c something that is right or true should not change from year to year, culture to culture. if it does it's not truth.on your last point, would you say that hitler was right b/c he was just following his internal moral compas

  • @RedLetterChristian Hitler followed his own moral compass, rightly ot wrongly. Your belief in Christianity is JUST AN OPINION it isn't necessarily true or untrue becuase it hasn't been DISPROVEN or PROVEN. I am not saying that x is right and y is wrong, I am just saying it is not fair to discriminate because of someones sexuality because the bible says so. When did you decide to start using these Westborugh Baptist relativity theologies anyway?

  • TYT are the dumbest people ever!
