I read somewhere that someone had in fact offered them a record deal shortly after this album was recorded. Then, supposedly, the label guys backed out on the deal , because they couldn't quite market them as a "glam" or "metal" band ! The album was released in 1997, by which time they had pretty much lost the chance of becoming famous. IMHO, they were a speedier (and infinitely more talented) version of Motley Crue. It shows just how much image mattered in the 80s (just like now) in America !
I think is just amazing how they started all this shit!!!! Helloween was the first band I ever heard. I am rasta and still listen to dem xD Trick or treat mofockas LOL! Helloween rocks. 80´s shit was fun and Cool, New stuff is not bad but What about Master of the rings album one of my favorites ever. time of the O::: Saludos.
sold a drumset to a guy the other day and halloween came up. my band "BURNER" opened for them at the emerald theater about 10 yrs ago. the guy asks: "does he still play those black NORTH drums. I reply "yep, rusty lugs and all" and here is that same kit. wow! MOTORCITY METAL, there's nothin better.
"BURNER" ROCKS Too!... I love "Over The Top", and "Reign". The gallop on Reign is just SICK! Is the band still together? Do you guys still perform anywhere?
THIS IS NOT SOUNDING ANYTHING LIKE TAMLA MOTOWN FOR SURE KNOWING THEY WERE HAILING FROM DETROIT ... UH !!! totally unfair that this band was selfproduced , truly a crime against all talented metal musicians !!! don' t metal with evil the song and whole album is a damn classic !!!
they weren't bad live..it was like Motley Crue meets Alice Cooper. I partied with them after their show..they were pretty cool dudes. The labled themselves the Detroit Heavy Metal Horror Show
no that is by Helloween this band here is different. Helloween has Michael Kisk singing, good band. This one....well not sure what to make of them yet.
I just seen the 25th ann. show at the Ritz.Awsome show guys.I've been a fan 24yrs and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for still pushin on. P.S.God bless you Donny,I hope your alright.
These early years of the band was great loved the lyrcs as much as the music. Some are still living a real nightmare. Reap what you sow one day every knee will bow, JESUS CHRIST is lord, Thanks Halloween for the hidden messages. Peace - resin8love
"Victims Of The Night" was recorded in 1986 as a follow up to Don't Metal With Evil... with the original line up but was never released until the early 90's
