I don't think this is faked, but I haven't ruled out a bug from close to the lense. However, there is a more interesting UFO at 3:24 in the top left of the screen, in the light area. What appears to be a bird for about 2 seconds, then it just disappears.
i am from norman, ok and when this was first reported, this individual recieved an email that threatened him to shut up or he would be harmed. the email was self destructing, which prevented him from determining who sent the email....it makes you wonder who wanted him to shut up

you can add a white thing to a video while you are filming!
also, why would he waste time and rent a helicopter and look for a meteor, if he knew it was fake.

I thought it was crossing closely at a 90 degree angle to the camera, but now can clearly see the the speed and direction. Fast! Wonder what the actual distance to camera was.

The problem with that theory, or any other theory pertaining to something being close to the lens, is that another video, and still photo of this 'Object' exist that was shot by Brian Swatiway of KOCO 5 TV in OKC, and another storm chaser that was positioned a mile to our west. That information is not covered in this short but will be covered in the extended version of this film if we decided to complete it.
You could get a triangulation then IF you knew exactly where the cameras were positioned at the time. I would like to see the photo, can you post it somewhere or email it to me uncompressed?
Its because of the other two pieces of event evidence that we were able to triangulate the object on video. That is how Skeet Vaughn and Bruce Maccabbee where able to come up with the size, distance, altitude and speed of the object.
Ice is a possibility... Never thought about it... But, the "Ice" would have had to be 30" long and 18" thick (Oval in shape) traveling at Mach 9 to 16 at the altitude of 5 to 7 hundred feet. Despite the matrix of the "object" it still defied all known laws of physics.

To answer your question: I never allowed any news organizations to broadcast this video because I felt a personal responsibility to those interested in the subject. I didn't want to contribute to the subjects of UFO's without it being taken seriously. So I had the "experts" look at the film rather than letting the "UFO Community" have it. I've sat on this tape for over ten years because the technology didn't exist to share it ten years ago.
Is this the first time the video has been seen anywere outside of who you have shown it to? because i see what was written at the end of the video but also know you said all the new channels picked up the story even FOX and im sure they played it then so im wondering why i never seen the footage even off a recording from the news clip, because it is just a great great video plus the left turn is clearly visible and wonderful quality. anyway absolutely spectacular video!!

no, i meant, that it was on the , the tv station used his camera footage. they didnt use some footage that he edited on the computer.
they use the video directly from his camera. meaning it couldnt have been edited.

Have you ruled out ice... but like you say it would of left some kind of trace of an impact on the ground.
Also if it was ice,the shape of it,if spinning could send it on a different path.....just an idea.
