My family also suffers from HD. My grandma and her sister are both in the late stages of HD. I have began researching HD recently, and in some ways my grandma has endured so much more than she should have, but selfishly I am glad she is still here. Thank you for sharing so much about your family and your mother. My prayers are with you and your family, as this is a family struggle.

I have been watching the videos of your mom and I am touched.She is truly blessed!My mom has just been dx'd with HD and it has been a difficult adjustment for us all.Your mom has such a great attitude and sense of humor.My mom has been struggling with the reality of HD and I sometimes wish that I could have the mom who raised me back.BUT I am hopeful because we still do see glimpses of who she used to be and I am grateful for her love and laughter.Thank you so much for sharing your mom with me!
