The bible doesn't say anything about Lesbians. 1) All commands are towards men. 2) They all phrase it in a way that reads if you have sexual relations with a woman, don't with a man.
You could read it as "If you've committed to a woman, don't sleep with a man." Which works perfectly with whole sticking to one person. You know... not getting a divorce.

Nobody said in order to be married you have to be a man and a woman. You just have to love one another, and it really doesn't matter WHO you are...Love is love. My mother is a Christian and she even said you have to love everyone. My dad is Athiest (Or agnostic, I don't know which one) and he technically said the same thing. God would have never put you on this Earth if he felt like you didn't need to be here.
what i find crazy about this is that the woman said "i have to keep the tradition of what marriage means.." well if you really wanted to stick to a traditional marriage YOU should have never gotten a divorce because in traditional marriages, there is no such thing as divorcing your husband. Me, personally, I don't believe in religion. I belive God is a loving, whole, accepting higher being that doesn't care about who a person loves as long a they're good people.

I also love how the daughter just up and tells the mom that if she can't accept her for who she is and who she loves, then she can't be in her life, period. So many gays let thier parents' hatred get the best of them and think they did something wrong. It's good that she's found the strength to not let her mother's beliefs dictate her life.

One of the reasons gays want to get married is a desire to have 'oneness' with the heterosexual world. Giving our relationships a different title when they are the same thing is a mild form of apartheid. It's a way of keeping gays and str8s separate. It doesn't promote unity.

@DuNyceBeats obviously they are not together to have children. They are together b/c they love eachother. Its really not sad at all, I have grown up with gay people and they were so loving and caring. Its weird to even see two straight people getting intimate b/c its a sexual thing that children don't understand. I was horrified when I found out where babies came from lol. I have friends who have two moms, two dads. They are happy kids, well taken care of and they happen to be straight.

@luvbites23 Because people had to sacrifice animals for forgiveness regularly. When Jesus died, it became so that we could ask for forgiveness and be forgiven. We have to repent for it because we have to want forgiveness and we have to mean it. If you lie and don't feel bad and don't ask to be forgiven, you're going to do it again with out even trying to resist. When asking for forgiveness you have to mean it and you have to try. People should respect others opinions and try to explain why.
@magicXmaria why hurt an animal to get a god's approval? Why would some loving god ask it's followers to execute animals and people to please him? Everyone is going to lie, its human nature. Some people have to lie to save their own lives, some kill for self defense, even prostitutes sell their bodies to survive. There shouldn't be a reason to ask for forgiveness if Jesus died to "wash" away all the sins.
I can't really explain everything. I can just suggest that if you are really wanting to know just give the Bible the chance. Read some stuff. Maybe it can explain some why's and how's. It doesn't mean you have to believe in it, you would just be seeing why people believe in it.
@magicXmaria well thats why I am where I am. I gave the bible a chanc, its not for everyone. I don't trust a book written by men thousands of years ago. It really just makes me angry to read the bible. There are so many things I disagree on and so many things I don't believe. It can help me. Thanks for the advice though.

After much reading, and much learning...I developed my own beliefs which are similar to others. But I don't believe what a book says simply b/c it says it is truth. I don't accept anyone as my king. I am human and I don't think we are sinners. I think the things that we feel are natural and it is up to us to control them.

Some states allow owners of restaurants to refuse service to gays. Some states you can be fired for being gay in the workplace. So yes. being gay is the new black.

It simply means that both groups have at some point in time, been discriminated against by the majority. Pretty undeniable really.

@luvbites23 Because people had to sacrifice animals for forgiveness regularly. When Jesus died, it became so that we could ask for forgiveness and be forgiven. We have to repent for it because we have to want forgiveness and we have to mean it. If you lie and don't feel bad and don't ask to be forgiven, you're going to do it again with out even trying to resist. When asking for forgiveness you have to mean it and you have to try. People should respect others opinions and try to explain why.

After much reading, and much learning...I developed my own beliefs which are similar to others. But I don't believe what a book says simply b/c it says it is truth. I don't accept anyone as my king. I am human and I don't think we are sinners. I think the things that we feel are natural and it is up to us to control them.

This makes me sick. I was very fortunate to get the family I have. I'm a female-to-male transgendered person (post op- though it shouldn't matter) with a boyfriend of 4 years. I mean I'm trans AND gay. I can't imagine having family who didn't accept me. Most of mine did, I was lucky. And I feel badly for these lovely ladies, they should have family who accept them no matter what.
