Did anyone hear the words "Using Sonic Boom Suppression technology"? I specifically remember researching that technology, what it is is that at the nose of the QSST there is a electro-dynamic field laser beam which is pulsed in front of the QSST at a distance of about 10 to 15 meters, which causes the air to become suppressed due to the electromagnetic field that is created. its the only way to actually suppress the sonic boom at 1.89 mach. :O

This Vehicle has a shape that at certain angles is a reminder of the "sky fish" or "flying rods" that can also be seen on youtube. Also the squid shape is in there too. . Makes sense considering going through air is equal to going through water.....except the noise of this craft is pointed more down to have a better control of counter lift.

@lokman9800 Mach 1.6 makes sense for available engines we have at the moment. The F119 engine in the F-22 Raptor is optimized for supercruise at Mach 1.6 and therefore makes sense as an engine for business type QSSTs.

If you've ever used a bicycle pump you'll know that compressing gas heats it, and supersonic flight compresses the air in front of the aircraft. Airliners that fly at high subsonic speeds are usually icy cold from the huge amount of air flowing over them, so friction is actually a tiny part of what causes the heating.
