I agree, Krishnamurti is very clear about discovering thyself without being told the method. In essence, truth and wisdom comes only from our unique/individualistic interpretation of reality/existence. All too often religious leaders put words in others mouths without letting people think for themselves. An open mind is perhaps the only way to even attempt to discover the truth.
This guy is the real McCoy. Compare his stance on organisations, teachers, priests, gurus, etc, with those around today who are intent on trapping the unsuspecting in their sticky webs Every word this man says rings true. He even exposes the futility of trying to impose order on the world - are you listening New World Order?!? I wonder what percentage of humanity really understands what he says - and what that percentage must reach before the 100th monkey syndrome takes over?
there is no inner vs. outer truth. what is true is all one. if you really see something, it changes you instantly. there is no graduality. we can act in various destructive ways (greed, ect.) because we don't see what the real consequences are. we may be aware of them, but we don't care because we don't feel that pain, someone else does. a brain with no empathy is where a monster is born.
empathy is an aknowledgement that we are seperate from each other which is wrong. There is no seperation we really are all one. One part of a large canvas which the universe is painted on. To feel seperate is to believe you are only the paint.
How one as apart of a society and civilization supposed to live amongst and with these inner truths. If we all were to come to a realization of truth thats our consciousness how will we function as a civilization.Without governments, religions, religious institutions, monetary systems, etc., I just cannot picture it or how it will be.I want to picture this but all that comes up is ideologies of new government systems and forceful order.I cannot escape the feeling of wanting to have power, and money.
If the truth you imagine you have is as K asks us to examine for ourselves, are conditioned responses and not our own free and independent experiences and thoughts about that. We all live a lie. We are taught to normalise self deceit, by playing the game (conforming to the violence against our freedom and independence) in the family, church, culture, nation, society and so forth. We are all plagiarised. Our true selves denied. Our true power of Tenderness of Love and joy absolute atrophied.
seek the kindom of God first, and then every thing else shall come unto you. the kindom of God is in, not out. check your selves and observe where you seek.
My view is that many more understand what K said than you might realise, I hope so anyway!. We all of us have a tendancy to want to over complicate what K said when in reality what he had to say was quite simple. K speaks of Gods being the inventions of thought, he speaks of the dire implications of nationalism and patriotism on the world in which we all live. If one really cares to look then one comes to see that what K has to say requires no more than common sense to understand.
you are the world, awesome

K was one of the great teachers of all time but unfortunately not many understand him.

Yeah, he was so great, that's why you call him K. You don't even have the discipline or repect to address him properly.
