thats on the reals! i remember using them on laptops, maybe about 10 years ago, and i LOVED 'em! i can only imagine, even though its considered "dino-technology", i'm guessing that the technology behind it has only gotten better over the paste decade. i, however, like the other Thinkpads that have both mouse options.

@olivagt1 All of those (depending on the NFS) will at least be playable on lowest settings at 800x600. However, if you are looking for gaming, look elsewhere. I play TF2, Altitude, and MineCraft on mine. It's certainly not good for it, but you can.

i have this baby. the only bad thing about this is it doesn't has the freaking mouse pad. if you using that tracking button for a while it hurts ur freaking finger. i got microsoft arc mouse today. other than that this laptop is da bomb.

really awesome ! i've a thinkpad x200s , it's really so nice to use it , battey life is really good , good resolution , it's not heavy at all , good performance , the keyboard as you said is really good.

Not the '90's mate, but in the ultra portable '00's.

All thinkpads have had track point for years, and as a thinkpad x40 user, I love it and prefer it over touchpad any day of the week.

Doesn't mean it's atiquated, quite the opposite really.

Everyone to their own, but I personally will be relacing my X40 with this or a HP elite with a track point.

i prefer touchpoint over touchpad and this greatly reduces my selection in laptops. why everyone blindly thinks touchpads are better is beyond me. once you get used to touchpoint, it's hard to use a touchpad.

Very nice, thanks for posting. Still looks and feels like my good old T41p I am typing this on. Also, the display really does not look too bright. Same as with my device; It's been "okay" then, but the screen got dimmer and is problematic now in daylight conditions.
