Well avatar is American and it is based on primarily Chinese martial arts. There is also some Chinese culture and architecture seen in the Earth Kingdom along with Japanese influences in the Fire Nation, Inuit in the Water Tribes and Indian in the Air Nomads. Throughout the show the written language, no matter the nation, is in Chinese though.

It's a sort of American-Anime with Japanese anime influences. You can see certain resmblences between the Avatar genre and other anime styles.

I know I've commented before, but this is a good opening. In my opinion, this video makes avatar seem as..... catastrophic, for lack of a better term, as japanese anime. It would be a great trailer

hmmmmmm...

seems suspicious to m too. if it was older it would have been made with wmm, and i saw an effect in there that can't be done with wmm.

All the flashing is made with WMM2. The way to effectively do flashing like that is by cutting a clip into very small pieces(each piece represents a flash) and then giving all the pieces a fade in or fade out special effect. You can have it flash as quickly or slowly as you want depending on how close you put the clips together.

Another part you may be confused about is the separate images appearing.

You make three separate images,one with only one picture,one with the first picture and an additional one and the third with the first two and the third part.You need to have all the pictures the same size and any place without pictures needs to be one solid color. I found black to be more appealing.On the Azula part i started blacked out instead.I also chose to put in the actual video afterwards for illusion of motion.

In the end you will have three pictures and you just need them to be right after each other in WWM. You knoe how to add pictures right?

well it is older. It is on the newer side of my amvs though. I originally uploaded it under littlerain but my account was banned for uploading episodes. "Chiisai" (ちいさい)means little or small and "ame"(あめ) means rain. Thus chisai ame, my name, is just littlerain in Japanese.
