charger went bust gunna try and get electrition to fix it but if cant gotta buy one i live in uk but if get amercan one off ebay so dont have to pay 40 odd pound for one from irobot on a adapter will it do anything to the roomba
thank you
ben
p.s cannot get a uk one that can be used with my roomba (a sage)
agreed. People are missing the point that a very simplistic commercially used robot is using additional programming to expand it's original functions. Just a step in the right direction to further expansion
The 4 stars on this video disagree with you. This would be a great addition to the Roomba. For instance if it detected something too big to suck up like a piece of plastic that would get caught or something, just pick it up and put it in a little bin on top of it.
God its called iRobot

I think you're all missing the point: the robot isn't being
remote-controlled, but rather using internal programming
(crude A.I.). This thing obviously isn't designed to be as
advanced as a Robosapien or an Aibo, so its inputs are limited
as well as its processing ability. Considering what they're
trying to make it do with the limited hardware, I'd have to
agree with the reporter: "not bad!"

Nice try.
I have a fascination with robots; they do anything you program into them

A $120 roomba and a $500 dollar robotic arm. Pretty cool.
