- Chalermchai is one of my favorite artists. He breaks down barriers with this monumental unconventional Buddhist temple. If Buddha was alive today, this would be one of his favorites.
Incredible. We (a group of 16) will be going to Laos and Thailand this summer, and we'll be trekking to Chiang Rai, so I'm going to put this forward as somewhere to go.
And if you are reading this tomorrow at the meeting (you know who you are!).... HI! :D
this temple is built a couple years ago, and it's still not finished.
I wonder what it will be the next to build

Well done! Can you imagine that a lot of tourist "forget" to visit Wat Rong Khun in Chiang Rai?

Just went to Chiang Rai and saw this fantastic temple. Particularly amazed by the mural in the main temple depicting Hell.

James,
Fantastic footage and well edited!
I saw the temple October last year, but unfortunaly it was too dusk to film with good result. Above it was real cloudy.

James,
Splendid! Nice takes, captures it very nicely.
Also saw it October last year, but unfortunately the day was almost finished and it was real cloudy. Which I could have taken your shots.

I want to go back in a year and follow up on his work - it's very ambitious. I hope I can interview him or watch him and his artists work on it.
Thanks for watching it!
