  • Nope she's An admiral it shows in the star trek movies

  • The cast is all wrong. Starfleet would likely have never even re-launched the USS Voyager. It would have been dissected and studied. If they did, I seriously doubt the same crew would have been stationed aboard. Janeway becomes an admiral somehow after they return anyway, as evidenced by "Nemesis".

  • @derkomissar100 The Voyager relaunch books talk about how Voyager, along with a few other ships, use slipstream drive to return to the Delta Quadrant deliberately, and a lot of the Voyager crew go with them, being the closest thing Starfleet has to experts on the region. I do believe a lot of the future tech (ablative armor generators, transphasic torpedoes) were pulled, though, and Starfleet does use transphasic torpedoes during an invasion by the Borg, so take that for what you will.

  • I love Stargate, I love Andromeda and I love Star Trek TNG/VOY. So I love this video. :D

    Have a nice day. :]

  • The more I think of it the more I like the Ideas of Kevin Sobo and Lisa Ryder. Also Amanda Tapping is a great idea. Last start emailing paramount folks. Time for a new Star Trek Series!!!!!

  • bad

  • i suggest spelling "adventures" correctly

  • Oh and no offense to Sorbo, but I don't think he could pull off Cambridge. But Lisa Ryder would make a good Nancy Conlon. :)

  • One little problem: Afsarah Eden is Black (or at the least, very dark-skinned), according to the novels Full Circle and Unworthy.

  • Amanda Tapping would do it, she'll do anything. She's the Nicholas Cage of Sci-fi TV. But, then you lost me at Kevin Sorbo.

  • nice you managed to add Dylan and Becca from Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda to the mix

  • Actually, Word of God has it that Hugh Laurie was the author's pick to play Counselor Cambridge.

  • where is seven.

  • Captain Chakotay = Yes, Fleet Captains don't exist any longer, Commodore Eden (name change maybe), First officer Paris = No, B'lana Tores = No (where's the kid), Lt. Com Barcley atleast (who's the chief engineer though?), Lisa Ryder (hard blonde one too many), Sorbo = councillor (a bit gay = No), Lt. Aneka Hansen (7 of 9 no more), Lt. Kim = Yes, Dr Richard Zimmerman (good fitting name and rank of Lt. Com) = Yes! Otherwise I'd watch it lol...

  • Come on Lt. Commander Barcley at least. Reg deserves it.

  • Huge cast. Did anyone noticed that Barcley even when leading the pathfinder project keeps Lt.?

He is commander in the shows finale "Endgame".

  • @ChicoTorera Might be his mental health that keeps his rank held back look at Tuvok 120+ but still only a commander in the Titan books!

  • @2490debrick Tuvok resigned Federation in 2298 and rejoined 51 years later. Thats why he is still a commander there.

  • You mean 53 years lol but you are right that would be a hindrance! Nether-the-less a hypocondriac officer with phobia's and addictions is going to be a bad leader even if he does go through the ranks an engineer not that of command!

  • nice

  • Janeway was one of a few even 7 of 9 and Kess! :) to name a few

  • Carter's first line: Oh, so that is the famous "Voyager"

  • Harry finally earn his rank, good

  • Hercules as a counselor?! ha ha ha ha you make me laugh!

  • It would not the same without Janeway it's like bringing back star trek enterprise but without tucker. It's just not possible !

  • Good attempt. It jumps around a bit at the end, but a great attempt nonetheless.

    :)

  • 0:31

This is Samantha Carter from Stargate (Atlantis).

You can see it in the background.

  • u gave harry kim a promotion lol. never thought he'd make it pass ensign lol

  • One thing i would change is by the end of voyager 7 of 9 had mostly reclaimed her humanity so by the time this show would begin i believe she would be going by Annika Hanson not 7 of 9.

  • I would LOVE to see Lisa Ryder in a Star Trek series. Great actress. She was great on Forever Knight!

  • I watched star trek in the wrong order. I started with ENTERPRISE, then Watched VOYAGER, Im Stil working on Next Generation

  • horray Harry got above Ensign lol

  • Harry never gets promoted because everyone hates him. Don't believe me, look how often he was the surviving redshirt, for whom death would be too honourable.

Janeway never gets killed because the Reaper is too damn scared. To kill Janeway would prevent her from having another cup of coffee, we all know what happens to people/sentient nebulae/interstellar empires/Borg who come between her and coffee.

  • One word: shit

  • WTF??? Harry still can not get a promotion?

  • @WesOrion

I was thinking the same thing! Starfleet does not like Asians!

  • IMHO I don't like it. It's too crudely done and the music doesn't keep with some of the footage used. But it is a very good effort and given time, you could make a truly spectacular intro.

  • Not bad but I think harry should have a higher rank being that he never got promoted in the voyager series. Mabt lt. Commander

  • Captains never die, They come back next season

  • No offence intended to other sci-fi fans but please stop mixing "lesser" shows with trek, it was and is the original and best by far sci-fi universe.

  • @TheCharlie359 No offence taken - I am trying consider myself as a "neutral" - but even so, I have to disagree with you on your last point - (yes, I am also against mixing of different universes.) - but objectively, there is Star Wars as well. And no matter how much you maybe don't like it, with all its various worlds, cultures, planets, races and mythologies, one can only hardly claim Star Trek as the best. No offence.

  • @SirGalahadCtny Well, in the end...it comes down to two things. What you personally like, and what popularity/influence a show had on the public and the marketplace. In this regard, ST and SW are on top...with 40 plus years running for Trek, and 30 odd years for Star Wars. A person has a right to like/dislike what they want. (I.E. I don't care for McDonalds because of health/food issues), but I can hardly say they aren't the best at what they do. The market says they're the ones to beat. I.E. #1

  • Janeway dies? The person who wrote that should be the one to die! Janeway was the reason many watched Voyager

  • @msinvincible2000 Very true, but Seven of Nine's skintight outfits weren't exactly a detractor, either...:D

  • @msinvincible2000

    In the books.........that is.

  • @msinvincible2000, It was the ONLY reason i did!!!

  • @msinvincible2000 don't worry. Janeway's death is not canonical i.e. not true to the Star Trek timeline

  • @msinvincible2000

Janeway doesn't die within Voyager itself unless you count a weird temporal thing.

But Janeway is promoted after return and makes a cameo in Star Trek Nemesis.

  • @horusrage I know that. I just don't agree with this novel in which Janeway dies :)

  • @msinvincible2000 fair enough :)

  • @msinvincible2000 That and Seven.

  • @msinvincible2000 Janeway is then Admiral Janeway and is working on a desk job at Starfleet HQ

  • @eddielung31 Yeah! Killed by mutant borg! Nearly cried to hear 1 of the most favourite star trek characters of mine is killed of! Captain chakotay just doesnt sound right...

  • @msinvincible2000 She was the reason I avoided the series. :)

  • @msinvincible2000 of course she was(!) so Jeri Ryan/Seven of Nine was what.... just a bit-part character??? Jeri Ryan was brought onto the show because it needed some eye-candy. Janeway was annoying. The series would've been better if she'd have died and the crew get home "for her", with Chakotay as Captain... but that's just my humble opinion

  • @msinvincible2000 Seven of Nine had me at hello......sorry :(

  • Isn't tom Paris a full commander in the book? Because he is the first officer, no?

  • yeah Eden is black and also Voyager doesn't have that future armor anymore.. Part of Project Full Circle was that they stripped the ship of all future technology for studying and the Dept of Temporal Investigations thinking they contaminate the timeline. The only things they got back were slipstream drive and transphasic torpedoes. I think Janeway dying made for great stories.. I'm really loving all the post-Nemesis books.

  • 'Bout damn time Harry got promoted.

  • I just saw Becka Valentine and Dylan Hunt. Until I watched this video, I'd almost completely forgotten about Andromeda. I'm now off to watch some eps of it. Also, Carter's awesome and SG-1 rules all!

  • In the book Captain Eden is black -_- LOL.

  • nice except the music, i would change it because it doesn't fit the video

  • Where's Janeway?

  • @MelodyStark

Janeway dies in the TNG book Before Dishonor

  • @jmarnock those books don't effect the telivision series because acording to paramount only what is seen on tv or in the movies are 'real' so officialy janeway isn't dead, which personaly i am VERY thankfull for, i'm probably an awful trekkie for saying this but janeway is my favorite captian and to me the best, to me its not a question of kirk or picard, rather how much are you going to hate on my for saying janeway :P

  • @trueme0406 i loved janeway the most too :D

  • @trueme0406 Your not the onley one.

  • @jmarnock I don't get why Janeway got killed off like that. For me, VOY ended with "Endgame."

  • @jmarnock Janeway never dies. Janeway kills.

  • @jmarnock Wonderful series, awaiting the third book. It was sad when janeway died, but the story is very good.

Also, to dan32280, Tom is Lt. Commander, (for some reason, he really should be a commander =/) and if there was an officer the same rank as the 1st officer...meh.

  • @jmarnock no janeway doesnt die >:/ she was a good captain

  • @jmarnock How does she manage to go back in time and get Voyager home if she dies before the future parts of VOY:End Game?

  • @jmarnock She does? I don't remember that...or maybe wrong book im remembering.

  • and i thoght of Cambrige as Hugh Laurie in House, surly Brit lol

  • maybe I've missed something, but I always thought Eden was black, I pictured Agent Hightower from the Mentalist

  • I like it for the most part. I would watch the series, but I am curious as to how Kevin Sorbo would make a ship's counselor.

  • All those years in Starfleet, figuring out how to contact Voyager and Barclay is still just a lieutenant? He'll never make captain, but come on.

  • @jtkirkfan2002 Perhaps a Lt. Commander, unless there is a middle between Lt. and Lt. Commander. Barclay never appeared to show the initiative to step up his position, although he has the intelligence.

  • the only problem is these actors are just about in the old fokes home.

  • really cool

    why a actor from SG-1?

  • After reading the novel 'Unwothy' I felt that if it were ever to be made into a series that Amanda Tapping might be goo at the character Afsarah Eden.

  • @jmarnock She's busy with "Sanctuary."

  • great job :)

  • Nice. I like it.
