@iCockatiels i agree! my girl loves my foot, my left one, i think cuz it is attached to my left knee, which she loves to spend time on. as much time as possible! lol, for some reason, cockatiels have a foot fetish sometimes. maybe cuz of the angle they see the foot at? or the size? idk, i have had birds since i was tiny, and they still surprise me sometimes lol.

@Heavyweponsguy2000 My male doesn't wag his tail, but my female does. If I'm not mistaken they do that to release energy or stress. My female always does it outta stress. The best way to combat is to hold them and say nice things while watching Judge Judy, it calms mine down lol. Otherwise putting them on top of their cage with the door open or inside their playpen works.

@Heavyweponsguy2000 I cup one in my hands gently, sweet talking it as i bring it out. I sit on the couch and do that until it doesn't fight. They cannot fly if their wings cannot span. It works for the female. The male has an intense fear of hands. They were abused birds. He tries to avoid hands. I found that he's comfortable on my shoulder if I keep my hands to myself and sweet talk him. Be patient, even if they fly away, and be always calm and gentle. Clipping wings is easier.

@Heavyweponsguy2000 maybe you're anxious. Slow down and be nice. Birds can sense your intentions. For example, if I hold my female and think about ripping her head off, she'll fight to get away. It also helps to not look them in the eye. I created a communication with mine, if I want them to go on my finger, I say "Up up" and present my finger. They feel better because they know what to expect. It takes practice to create that communication.

Actually you just have to repeat a phrase several times, eventually the bird will pick it up, but it all depends on the breed. My Timneh picked up only one phrase "weird bird" which I would mutter every time I walked by it's cage.

My grand-mothers Congo picks up every phrase she hears, and some times even telephone convos. My mother taught her to say "help, I'm a prisoner let me out" after my mom repeated it to her through a two day stretch everyother hour (obviously not when she was sleeping

My bird Sammy loved toes, he loved white socks too! He walked on the floor and would always sing to our feet. He would put his head down and talk, pretty bird Sammy and words we couldnt understand . I dont have any videos of all the things Sammy did and I regret that. He flew away 2 mo.ago. The reason the tiels like feet depends on if they were allowed to walk on the floor when they were little. They seem to take a liking to what they were around and maybe associate it with a kind of comfort
