if you want to make me happy at christmas i want all the seasons of cold case thats all nothing else just that and for 1 week i want to be alone in my room and if somebody interrups me ill chop of his or her head
for some reason this episode weirded me out the most.i never even heard of drug mules before this.i guess becasue i don't do drugs, but you'd think i'd still have heard of them.
whose the girl that played ana she's pretty and omg this episode came on yesterday it was so sad {{spoiler alert!}} they thought the drugs were in her belly so they sliced open her belly and threw her out the car and they was in that statue the whole time
@NarokiDream that scene really pissed me off because she knew they were going to kill her and she looked in the office window and saw herself if she could have turned her life around a real shame.
@j2grizzley Return to Innocence by Enigma. One of my favorite songs in the world. But whoever uploaded this is playing it too fast. The song is up about 3 octaves too high.
For sure; never been much of a CC fan but this scene jettisons into the realm of the tear-jerker even without the viewer having seen the entire ep. Power of film exemplified.
Easily one of the most poignant episodes. The victim, a drug mule who reaches the point where she wants to leave it all behind and better her life, is murdered. Scotty, at that time working undercover, crossed the line in trying to help her, is now haunted by this. and begins to doubt his ability as a cop.
Another great music scene is the victim's last scene at the church, where "Life In Mono" (by Mono) is played.
I just saw the rerun and this eposide and this song "life in mono" played I had no idea what it was called, so I tried to find this eposide and finally stumbled on your comment. Best song, so much emotion, thanks for posting that!
True...but i've seen them use songs that were not even realeased at the time of the scene (i.e. "Offender" they go back to a scene in 1987 playing "Shattered Dreams" by Johnny Hates Jazz....that song was not realeased until Spring of 1988) --O-O--
Can anybody tell my why the another victim (killed by the guy earlier, the guy is the one who killed the protagonist) is killed?

Funny how they use this song "Return to Innocence"(1994) for a 1998 flashback.....no biggie, still good!

not unusual for them to use a song from a few years before the death took place

All the music in this episode was 'trip-hop'-y and I guess they just wanted a cohesive selection.
