i have a legit lvl 10 dragonair from the original pokemon gold version.. get super rod, go to blackthorn city and go south through the grass and jump over a couple of the walls and you come to a little pond, use super rod for a while on the pond and u get lvl 10 dragonairs.. no hacks or anything, try it :)

you can catch mudkip in the first room you enter from violet city.. walk around i the ground (might take a wile) and look for it and if youre lucky enougth you'll find it at lv. 1 (i was not just lucky i was really lucky since i got a female shiny!)(sorry 4 bad spelling)
