  • abeg. wey channel dey self.. i go yankee come back no see channel oh wetin ?

  • The guy is good with his pidgin and the yankee word is correct check wikipedia if you are not sure! Thank God for google!!!

  • The song is Shakara by Fela...

  • can someome please tell me the name of the song that is playing??

  • Africa Sam!!!!

  • What makes it really convincing is what I believe is a traditional Nigerian outfit.

  • This dude should use this talent and do a show in Nigeria. He will be richer than Oprah if he should use this talent wisely. O'l boy, you are too much o! Keep it up.

  • Him tried but him no get the pidgin well.. For pidgin we no DEY say Yankee we say YANK. Nah Yoruba people wey no too sabi pidgin dey say Yankee just as them dey say jandon instead of Jamdon. PH and WAFFI where oidgin come from dudes no dey say YANEE cos YANKEE nah person and no be place . The place is YANK.

  • @Killayut u just miss yarn proper..maybe nah u dey call am yank... we dey call am yankee for eko, etc...nah jandon .. which wan be jamdon.. if u want bread and jam just yarn.. no come dey confuse person for internet

  • @JDG365 LOL peeps in Eko no dey even speak pidgin. When I touched there from Port Harcourt for the first time I think say nah another country i entered. No body dey speak pidgin. nah Jamaicans Yoruba dey copy as per the jandon thing. Them hear from london and instead of JAMDON them dey say jandon. VERY funny. LOL. you go dey gbadun, you wey be omo wereh, shebi i sabi, omo kiloshele nah the pidgin wey dem dey speak for EKO lol laugh wan kill me die.. IT IS YANK.. YANKEE is a person .

  • @Killayut lol your knowledge is short! Never discriminate against people talk-less of a whole tribe race! What do you know about Lagos and the way pidgin is spoken. Moreover, you only learn abusive words! Better grow up and learn how to contribute to the society than corrupting the society!

  • @tyoosuf Telling the truth dey always vex people . Why ? Bros I dey always embarrassed when ever this kind thing happen . Even Ghanaians wey just dey start yarn pidgin sef dey yarn correct pass Yoruba people. I be proper Lagos dude bro so I know wey thing I dey yarn.

  • @Killayut The term Yankee (sometimes shortened to "Yank") has a few interrelated meanings, usually referring to someone either of general United States origin or, more specifically within the States, to people originating in the northern United States, or still more narrowly New England, where application of the term is largely restricted to descendants of the English settlers of the region.[1] COPIED FROM WIKIPEDIA,SO GOOGLE IT YOURSELF AND STOP TO ARGUE!!!

  • @tyoosuf LOL ok i no go dey type grammar again so you understand.. I said YANKEE REFERED to a people and not a place.. I dey go Yankee or I dey for Yankee is wrong . Yon't say I dey go Nigerian or I dey for Nigerian or I dey go English or I dey for English.. a YANKEE IS A PERSON and not a place A YANKEE lives in YANK. SO YOU SAY i DEY GO or for YANK. When I was a kid in Port Harcourt we all said YANK nah Yoruba people spoil am to YANKEE. I dey go YANK = I dey go USA.

  • @tyoosuf fROM YOUR OWN POSTING ACCORDING TO WIKIPEDIA read it again.. it says.. usually refering to SOME ONE ( not some where ) to people originating ( not some place ) but to people. YANKEE IS A PERSON not a place the place is YANK.... teach your self. it is restricted to descendants ( PEOPLE ) not PLACE..

  • Notin like Yank for pidgin.

  • @TheNigerianVoice Travel round Nigeria to know.. You can not stay put in Lagos and assume every thing you know in Lagos is what it is in Nigeria.. Thats being stupid. People in PH say YANKEE today as well just as they say shebi too or ni.. But these are new development and adoptions.. I am a PH dude and we say YANK and not YANKEE.. I HEARD yankee for the first time in Lagos and it sounded strange to me but understandable.

  • @Killayut

And why did you assume I'm in Lagos? There is nothing like Yank in pidgin, or Yank does not mean Yankee in pidgin. Yankee is Yankee. And the word is used to describe a person who is an American, or the country itself..just like the way we use "Naija".

  • @TheNigerianVoice Bro.. No need to argue with you cos you just dey ignorant. I be Ph dude and I grew up in PH, Lived in Lagos so I know the difference. People dont even speak pidgin in Lagos sef unless some peeps wey get eastern Friends if not nah yoruba dem dey speak. I grew up saying YANK for AMERICA AND YANKEE FOR AMERICAN in ph and it makes more sense..But then its pidgin and it changes style with time. When I used the word to panick you peeps in Lag couldnt grab. thats it..

  • @Killayut

And why the hell do you still assume I'm in Lagos? Na only PH and Lagos be the cities wey dey Naija?

  • @TheNigerianVoice Cos nah only Lagos kids go argue wey thing you dey argue...

  • @Killayut

    Yeah, right!

  • @Killayut : Yankee na yankee not Yank o

  • @Killayut you are right , "na correct talk you dey talk na true talk be dat" we say YANKEE, for AMERICAN and yes, in lagos, if you dont speak english you speak yoruba unless you mix with easterners who mainly speak pigin english but since most igbo speak yoruba that live in lagos its like speaking french if you live in french speaking canada its important to just get things done ..

  • @TheNigerianVoice LOL some people in Lagos think Lagos is the only city in Nigeria hence the JJC slogan.. That is the problem with people So when you tell them that Certain places in Nigeria have certain things in different ways they argue till they see it.. Pretty much like you refer to Ibibio people as CALABAR. if an Oron man says he is not CALABAR you say its a lie.what about refering to every one in the EAST as Igbo or Okoro. if he says he is IJAW you treat him like a fool .IGNORANCE

  • @Killayut

"My Naija people wey dey for Yank" That does not even make sense.

The correct the pidgin is: "My Naija People wey dey for Yankee"

Make u try learn proper pidgin abeg...make e nor come be say Oyibo man wey adopt pidgin come sabi speak pidgin pass u wey be proper Naija Pikin.

  • @tyoosuf yOU SEE AS ENGLISH DEY HARD UNA TO UNDERSTAND. Even your own posting sef ddey hard for you to understand.. NAH SO UNA DEY DISGRACE EVERY NIGERIAN.

  • @Killayut Who is disgracing Nigerian? I am an ambassador of Nigeria and I am very proud of her! Because of a word that is a slang? I dont discriminate about specific tribe or place just to justify the knowledge of pidgin! UNA WELL DONE MASTER OF PIDGIN!!! I HOPE U ARE SATISFY NOW!

  • @tyoosuf Bros this your words this time don fall my hand so I go so i am sorry for saying una dey disgrace Nigeria. I think wey thing i talk dey too mean so forgive me.

  • @Killayut Bros I go forgive you! You be our best rating person for this Youtube! God bless!

  • Respond to this video... Ok maybe nah some Yoruba people not all.. Those ones wey get Warri and PH pals dey speak correct pidgin tho.

  • @Killayut

Yankee can be used to used describe the person or the place where the person is from cos the word “Yankee” is a slang kinda like “Naija”.

So a person from Nigeria can be called Naija Boy/Girl, or the country itself can be called Naija.

And in his case, he said: “Naija people wey dey for Yankee” and if you reserve that to Americans living in Nigeria, it is: “Yankee people wey dey for Naija”

And that my friend, is perfect pidgin. So maybe na you need to step ur pidgin up.

  • @TheNigerianVoice

    correction*

    reserve = reverse

  • finally i can cross ''meet a razz white man'' off my bucket list

  • Why is this guy not famous yet???

  • maybe this has been asked already but what is this music? Can someone please tell me the name of the track and artist?

  • @mrsubconscious FELA KUTI check out his playlist on yt

  • I love this guy..;-)

  • @eufavourite if a black guys can speak american english smoothly then a white guy can also speak pidgin eglish smothly. there is nothing new about white guy speaking pidgin

  • @AM310965 YOU ARE AN IDIOT AND I;M TIRED OF YOU FOOLS GOING OUT LIKE YOU KNOW SOMETHING, the Tamahu's vocal cords aint strong enough/ neither are they equipped phonetically speaking to be able to pronounce certain words, the western pentatonics is only 7 notes, the 8th been an illusion, DO-RE-MI-FA- Etc, that is like you can get all colours out of black but white is a dead colour, white is white / absorbable, it applies to sound, im sure lve lost you, l bet you are black and you drink milk too/

  • @AM310965

u really are very silly. tell me how many whit guy do u see that have the pronunciation down pat like that. moreso do u know that the way a normal white gut speaking yoruba sounds is the way u sound speaking english to them. or maybe u're the type to rain on everyones parade just to look cool, u'd probably say the same if u saw a horse in pencil skirt! he he heeeeee. get a life! ^-^

  • @AM310965

Exactly! Naija people brought up in the US/UK will adapt their accent/language and the same will happen the other way round. However, admittedly is rarer to see Americans or Brits take on the Naija accent and speaking the language as it is easier for them to not take on the culture and still get by so in that respect this guy is not average.

  • @AM310965 abi ?

  • @AM310965 well it wouldnt matter becuase americas are of all colors. It doesnt matter your color in America. A lot of people of "african" descent has lived in america for hundreds of years so they better damn well know of course how to speak english just as much as their white american cousins.

  • You are cool man... I really love your style

  • damn ... that's what's up!

  • 'Nigerian white boy' you need to giit into it and give us loads more action. We love yooooou!!

  • O_o DUDE YOU JUST BLEW MY MIND

  • Hollywood lomo! ejo jo!

  • ah tell you the guy don kill the place challey

  • Na this Guy be the Best eehh!!

  • It is just as funny for the Nigerian to hear others speak with a stiff upperlip and almost chewing on every word and spitting it out as it often happens in some areas in Britain. The Nigerian may also find it funny when the greater part southeast London choose to stammer on every word!"What you call Cockney accent".Let us all remember that the main purpose of a language is to express a thought or an opinion in words for the other to understand, period!

  • Chei...I tink I'm in love lol xD

  • na wa oh....i luv it

  • wow amazing, u can com to naija anytime

  • @kennyfal : "... can come to naija anytime" ? He is a Nigerian and he lives in Jos.

  • SHAKARA OLOJE

  • It would be a much better impression and more impressive, if he looked presentable. Looking like a coke head doesn't exactly flatter nigeria. Shave that hairy butt of your chin and get a clean haircut.

  • Mista Samaila Dan Fulani why don't you go into acting, I will like to see you in Nollywood. You've got all it takes ur accent is right on point. You are the envy of most nigerians who can't speak pidgin english. I'm still waiting for ur tv program . One love brother!

  • @omoibile i completely agree. even those of us born here we speak pidgin and do it proudly and some nigerians born in the village pretend like they cant speak. your inability to (form) speak pidgin doesn't make one classier and vice versa. c'mon lets keep it really real!!!!!!!!

  • You no go even believe say ein no be Naiga boy.

  • @ugo879 Are you Mista Samaila???

  • So sick, go white naija boy!

  • hey you...Im jealous..that accent makes you way too cool..You're standing in front of one the world's most famous signs with FELA playing in the background...you've got your wicked outfit on and your speaking in one of the coolest jivin accents in the world...Im jealous ..regardless of what anyone says, Nigeria rocks..come out with more comical skits with other accents and keep wearing those threads and you might go a long way...you never..keep rockin

  • Comment removed

  • excellent....eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh

  • everyone might laugh at what im gonna say, but this is a good proof of humanitys oneness, I know my stuff and if you didnt see this guy he has the attitude/ accent and aura of an igbo man, you would never guess he wasnt, and he is not insulting the language by making it sounds comical, he speaks it like one of us because he probably was one of us in a past life....Bless you, we accept you, cousin

  • what tune is that playing in the background ???

  • O boy make u start to dey act movie......either hollywood or nollywood....

  • 3 gbosa for this Nigerian Oyinbo... gbosa gbosa gbosa .. Dj flava washington dc

  • Man..this guyhas passed me....

  • Perhaps this guy should join the nollywood film industry, I guess his presence would be felt all across the country and in the diaspora; particularly his pidgin english accent which I think is hillarious!!!.

  • more videos, now, give us more.Come naija, we go find sponsors

Then what happens when you open you eyes and see who is doing it...

Guys...I find this a good job...

  • @ Brett

Its indeed a crazy world of cinema there but this guy is actually doing his videos for fun and he is in the USA now. Left Nigeria awhile ago where he lived for a very long time

  • Nice

  • aula este tio lo habla de puta madre!! damn i wish i could do that

  • this show sounds awesome... i want to learn more about the crazy world of nigerian cinema lol

  • @BrettCelinski - Nigerian films are intensely engaging..i've only just discovered them-It helps if you understand Pigdin English. When it comes to Drama and comedy, they're up there with the best. The women are stunning and Oprah Winfrey's mentioned Nigerian films several times on her shows..People from other African countries will only watch Nigerian films...The white guy speaking pidgin is a real eye opener but white Nigerians definately exist and they're just as funny as other NigeriansXXX

  • Kai dan burouba lls

  • he looks jewish

  • How can he look Jewish? Judaism is just a religion.

  • being jewish is not just a religion its also an ethnicity and someone can look like an ethnicity. just look up the meaning of being jewish.
