  • Around which year will these great products be on world market?

  • Really, not an urban air vehicle, because one bullet in any of its fans, (thats right) , 30 cents worth of lead and you are history, way bad idea, stick with choppers, survivability waaaaaay better!

  • Psht. I could do that with a box fan.

  • @fatqcockandballs post a video :)

  • If I'm shot in battle and bleeding, I may as well die in that thing.

  • G.I. Joe!

sad how it is becoming more and more real in this day and age.

  • Please tell me that this is not how far the Piasecki VZ-8 Airgeep has come since 1958..? It just got louder?

  • Hey whats that noise?

    WHAT!!!

    WHATS THAT NOISE!!!

WHAT I STILL CAN"T HEAR YOU!

    FORGET IT IT'S NOTHING!!!

  • Stealthy you say ha?..yeaaaah right.....

  • @leviterande obviously you're still single.

  • This is aa stupid as the video depicting it.... DUMB ASSES!!!! Hezbollah is waiting to blow the crap out of it.. LOL

  • Hovering is the easy part...

Let's see it fly somewhere at a useful speed.

  • Why do you present us a supposed flying "car", without any image of a parcours (anyone) ?

You have only filmed an engine suppoed very noisy and expensive on fuel, makin any "minutes" on "static flight", mainted with four or five iron cables !

You're realy taking your own spiece like a some of "imbeciles" !!! Pest on you !

  • @Carsfan58 NO! PEST ON YOU! PEST ON YOU SPIECE OF "IMBECILES" PEST ON YOOOOOUUU!!!!!!

  • If they put more effort into it they could have made it even more shit and useless, but not by much. LOL

  • @MrLoudmouthspeaker

Wha.. What was that? moms won rummy?

  • Flying cow, where, o there, you mean the buffalo?

  • Helicopter permutation #5,671

  • well, OK, let's wait another 20 years

  • why tether it.. they obviously don't trust it very much.

  • Blimey i can,t hear a thing! Why do they make it so loud!

  • At last a Bladerunner car

  • I had to mute the video haha X)

  • so it does fly... now, can it make a little less noise?

  • it took them 6 years just to do this? it's almost 2012 peeps, get with the program or drop out of the race.

  • yet another type of hovercar this is a good sign 2 c mor than 1

  • that looks hard to fly

  • @guitarshop40 Computers will fix that......every flying thing runs on computers now.

  • So many trolls here...

  • IDIOT VERSION of a fucking helicopter XD

  • @StoCcCardo

It's designed so that it can fly in confined spaces like a narrow street yet not be stopped by barricades or landmines

  • @StoCcCardo but can be stopped easily by an rpg-7 i think XD or simply steel cables :(

  • FAIL!, yeah, i can really see this piece of shit, holding onto side of buildings while your transporting victims, or picking up soldiers. anyways, move on aeronautics, and leave the tech stuff to the big boys.

  • Now scale it down to the size of a hoverboard.

  • pfff. Make it an unmanned HELICOPTER with a modular cargo fuselage and THEN we can talk.

  • So, how many MPG?

  • Cool technology. Impressive. I hope it is not used for evil purposes, as by a government trying to oppress its own people...

  • BZZZZZZZZZZ

    they'll never know we're coming.

    What?

    I SAID THEY'LL NEVER KNOW WE"RE COMING

    WHAT??

  • @dmo224 WHAT WAS THAT... SOME ONE COMMING... what cant hear YOU !!

  • @MrLoudmouthspeaker I SAID, GUESS WHAT COME IN THE MAIL TODAY? -ME I RAN OUT OF TISSUES LOL

  • @MrLoudmouthspeaker - The joke was already funny before you attempted to leech off it

  • @TmplKnght Oh touchy

  • @MrLoudmouthspeaker ...good one...

  • @MrLoudmouthspeaker WHAAT? YOU CANT HEAR WHO?

  • @UltimatePwnageNL its an interesting idea... but useing lawn mower engines may give you away...

  • @dmo224 LOOOOOOOOOL

  • @dmo224 WHAT DID YOU SAY!

  • @dmo224 ROFL !

  • @dmo224 LOL i needed a good laugh so thanks for your commment ';-)

  • it looks nice so far, but ducted fans are inherently laterally unstable... what stops this thing from going into a flat spin?... nothing.

  • @silentthunderstorm The purpose of these lateral duct fans is not to stop the main vertical fans from making the vehicle spin,as in in an helicopter. If they stop, nothing occurs. The two main engines are counter rotational so the vehicle doesn´t spin.In fact it is much superior to any helicopter in terms of safety. And there is more:These lateral fans could be used to direct the veihicle,by slightly reducing one of them in favor of the other.

  • @MrTadeo01 What keeps stability is the system of vanes conceived to direct air thrust ans give balance and manouverability. They are spread underneath the main rotors ans in the edges of the air craft.

  • Looks cool but what about engine failures?

  • The Airgeep LIVES!

  • finally, a flying car unlike that failed moller crap

  • like tears in rain.

  • Bitchin

  • oh look the COD MW fags are here

it's made to supply ammunition and evacuate troops in areas it's hard to get a helicopter to.and it's still in development

  • Israel has the best technology

  • kick azz

  • Black Templars Land Speeder! But make it Thypoon now. ;)

  • @aahedo Learn to read dude. A helicopter can't exactly fit everywhere. This thing is designed more for city use, where it can more easily slip between the buildings. Although I do agree that this design is BS. Not a fan of vertical air ducts.

  • looks unstable as a mofo

  • Roflcopter from avatar.

  • It took 20 years for the "osprey" to come together........so give em a break!

  • Very cool

  • I am beginning to lose faith, in this "project" ...

I would have expected development to have come MUCH further along, by now ...

I also am very discouraged at the apparent lack of stability and control ...

This thing needs to be able to insert and extract live troops and supplies into the 4th level of a 5 level car-park ... or to pull up to a third-story window or balcony, and perform a breech ... Recommend "Rapid-Rotor-Braking" ... for medivac and stealth insertions.

  • Israel's Urban Aeronautics has released video showing... how they can poorly demo decades old technology?

  • way cool! I want to get in it! any seats?

  • Wont work, way to unstable to be practical. a four bladed computer controlled system will work much better. Hell that thing is tethered to the ground so it doesn't fail catastrophically! does it work? Yes. performance grade? D.

  • @bigskip2121 Tethers are standard procedure for testing any hovering vehicle.

  • You can get a "jetpack" in New Zeland for about 40,000 €. Hows that? It is affordable :D.

  • MAke it electric, quieter more efficient

  • thats bull its just crap to the things that thay dont want to show us!!! Some pepole are so faint.

  • Way to go, Blade Runner stuff!

  • Micky, very nice work...

  • Trying to make a flying car without anti-gravity is just a waste of time.

  • @illustriouschin what's anti-gravity?

  • @mivic86 all they have to do is generate a certain type of field around the car that lets Earth's gravity flow around it without effecting the car inside.

  • @illustriouschin Sounds simple enough. Only there's no such power known to man up until now. Except for the magnet, of course, but they're not trying to make a hovering train here, so electromagnetic rails are out of the question. So in this case they do need to use motors to keep it in the air. Helicopter was a great solution, but it's exposed fins were its biggest flaw. So far this one seems to be the most efficient, and, well, realistic.

  • @mivic86 The fizzy lifting drinks that Willy Wonka makes are fairly efficient at making things hover.

  • @illustriouschin My point exactly.

  • Halo!! =)

  • G.I. Joe ha ha:'D

  • Make it quieter, Redesign the forward propulsion fans so the vehicle doesn't look like a giant metal mouse head, ass well as affordable by the common man. And maybe we could have a decent skycar.

  • @idiotfiles "make it affordable by the common man"?? do you think it was made by Nike? no you fucknut it's not like the air Jordan they're not making it for the common man they don't care if you can't buy it, its designed for government use and what do you think your gonna do with a skycar as far as I know no government will allow you to just fly around like you're in "Back to the future 2" with Marty Mcfly and Doc Brown, they will however say "Nice skycar pity this is restricted air space"

  • @idiotfiles They should use that new dyson fan they advertise on tv

  • @reptileguy1

Indeed. I'm not an expert or anything, but wouldn't the "Air Multiplier Technology" be much safer, affordable and energy efficient than the duct fans?

  • @idiotfiles even if we ever impliment skycars, they wont be drivable. only destination programmable. either that - or it will be a more efficient public transit system. no individual vehicles at all. either way - what a drag, i want a flying car lol.

  • @idiotfiles But affordable skycar is not what they had in mind. Common man is not ready for a personal flying vehicle yet, and when it comes to rescue missions this aircraft was primarly designed for, aesthetics or noise level are not this important.

  • @kruppenstein

Aye. That I know. At the time I made that comment my idealism was spewing from my veins per say. So, yeah.

  • @idiotfiles thatll never happen

  • @idiotfiles

i just watched a 1:16 clip and tell the creators of this thing to redesign... oh look at me im "idiotfiles"

  • @GetTheGr33n

    problem?

  • @idiotfiles yep. thats it. you just solved it, damn that was easy.

  • @airic554

    Heh, I know right?

  • @airic554

    lolwut.

  • @idiotfiles Why, it's supposed to be an emergency response/ transport vehicle. Not for public use.

  • @CMRDIvan

    I CAN DREAM DAMNIT.

  • @idiotfiles haha your an idiot its a uav not a plane duhhh

  • @iSomattO He never said it was a plane, he said make the changes he suggested and then we could have a skycar.

  • Is it for humanitarian applications? you know the Israeli's are so renowned for that..........yes it was sarcasm

  • @machoverspeed Nahh, Just thought it was sorta funny

  • @machoverspeed That's not what I meant, I said read the description. It will be used to transport casualties out of the field. You said you would have to be a casualty to fly on that. Get it?

  • HALO!!!

  • fucking ugly

  • i like it but it makes way to much noise

  • @machoverspeed Read the description

  • Fuck israel.

  • Reminds me of the Moller Skycar.

  • BBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

  • Now just gotta move to the next step of operation without safety tethers.

I wonder what its final specs will be like. SCIENCE!

  • we are designing unmanned aircraft, for manned evacuations?

    ok sure why not.

I guess it fills a niche - choppers can't land on streets amongst buildings, i'm just not sure why they made it unmanned if it's going to be carrying people anyway.

  • @roidroid There's two. One manned, one unmanned. If I got it right, the unmanned one is much smaller and is gonna be used mostly for surveillance.

  • a big noisy flying hunk of scrap iron

  • @somejackball iron? doubtful

  • Hunter-Killer from "Terminator" as it is.

  • @invisiblekincajou

Its all starting to come together

  • Seems like the same technology as the Moller Skycar. Maybe they'll be able to keep their costs low enough to make it affordable.

    I still want a Skycar.

  • @slctdmbntwrx standard safety precaution when testing such a vehicle.

  • nothing a well aimed RPG can't handle. future blade runner police car?

  • four strings? Really?

  • a big flying shoe

  • Wright brothers laugh at this!

  • OMG it's 1960 tech! Amazing sigh pfff

  • Scale it up a few times and Darpa can finally have that flying jeep they've wanted since the sixties.

Of course, nowadays it would get uparmored to the point of flightlessness anyway :P

  • @TehSplinterCell , ROL ;)

  • Specifications?

  • that thing is sweet!

  • neat :P
