I know this is kinda old, but: tf2 won't load the cfg properly. Do you know how to pull up source recorder manually?

@TheCrankGeek I'm guessing you're talking a bout fly-bys and stuff like that. Look up my tutorial on demo smoothing. Remember, you'll have to have made a dem file first (by recording your game using the record option in the console for Source)

I was wondering if there was any way to record only the video but not audio....it seems to me that when i watch it in it finished product, it lagges quete a bit and the reason seams to be that the audio in game is some how affecting it....any ideas?

Once i load with the f4, it laggs and such, and when i can run it, IT LAGGS like hell, it's like im getting 1-8 FPS! i mean, i can play dd2 on like 100+ FPS sometimes, but this makes me lagg like on a css server with 100+ players

Can you make a EDIT-tutorial? so lets say i edit a CSS full-graphics 1680x1050, how do i make it 1080p HD etc, and how do i make it look good?

I've check'd for good tutorials, but they're all 1980

And as for your game lagging... how come there hasn't been any sign of this until the last 3 days, when suddenly 5-6 people have had the problem? You don't record yourself, you make demos of yourself playing and record those in your spare time

it just removes the key for ducking. you can put the keys back to normal.

go to OPTIONS and select the Keyboard tab. scroll down and search for Duck under MOVEMENT. select Duck, press Edit Key and press Ctrl.

as for disabling it, i have no idea. maybe i can create my own CFG file to disable it.

Hey! I need some help. When i've recorded the video and is about to render the whole thing it cant. in fact I cant even view the video. I've tried WMM and Sony vegas 7. The strange thing is that it worked very well untill i tried to toggle the speed of the recording. HELP!!!

They'll either be able to view them or they won't, altering the speed shouldn't change that. Maybe you altered the file type it saved as. Try compiling the video in Sony Vegas and see if it does it okay.

when trying to record L4D the gameplay is faster than the audio, so could you explain the speed settings a bit more

I tend to fix that up in a video editing program.

You could just record with fraps, but then it's likely to film at a slow frame rate.

Just convert into wma or mp3, anything really, it will reduce your resolution a bit but if you have it in a raw avi format it will be HUGE.

I use AnX movie config, and record normally with Screenshots. This doesnt pick up any sound... Anyway i could record it with sound?

When i Do record as an Avi and frames compressed, It comes up with video and no sound, The A & B Wave folders in cstrike have nosound in them, the waves were gained by either recording the Avi or screenshots, With the screenshots, i drag into virual dub and make the "Clip" Any Idea on getting sound?
