2 months ago i couldn't do one oddly... after practicing i got one and worked up to doing 5 in a row before thanksgiving break.. after thanksgiving didn't workout the whole break and i can do 15 in a row now ofcourse the last few become sloppy but they are aloootttt easier now why is that?
i think it's whatever you've conditioned your body to do. if you have done bars solely, rings will take time to make them easy. if you have done rings solely, then it will take time to do bars.
joshieboy999, I agree, still can't get over the bar without twitching and screaming.... it aint pretty... And allso this guy does some really nice MU:s great job!

I've just started doing ring work, trying to progress to muscle ups... How often should I be training on rings? Is everyday too much?
craigfleming1000 5 months ago
What is your background to be able to do that?
BobbyFischer0000 5 months ago
@BobbyFischer0000
No gymnastics background, just starting working on pullups when I was about 38 or so. I started with zero pullups, worked up to this.

Nice! Someday I'll be able to do the same.

@LincolnBrigham Yeah, on reason I can I see is that the rings are unstable - you have to work hard to stabilize your body and the rings.

is your head hitting that piping? Either way, good muscle ups!!!!
gainera2582 2 years ago
No, the pipes are actually about 5 feet in front. But my head is touching the ceiling and my feet touch the floor, so it's just barely enough room.

gah i can feel my muscles burning just by watching this. Nice job =)

Not doing a full turn out at the bottom, but he also does them with next to no kip. Not bad.
