i understand this guys point, and hes a good speaker and he seems to love hisotry, so do i :), but how can you factually denounce someone's beliefs? even if history didn't happen as according to the bible (which it probably didn't) you can't say some peoples religious beliefs are wrong, its their beliefs let them believe what they want.
As someone who has rejected all organised religion I feel I can reply to this objectively.
The speaker is playing to the audience.
He urges people to learn history and yet declines to tell the audience the historical facts.
To sign something "according to" was the etiquette of the day (yours sincerely, best regards etc) and he also conviently forgets to mention that family names were not established in that that time period, they became commonplace centuries later.
"According to" was the etiquette, Right. But this had been mentioned by the speaker too, i.e. those were the pen names. Now if they were pen name then who were the authors? what do you know about their lives and stuff except that you "Claim" some of them to be desciples of Jesus?
They signed off "according to" because that was their way at that time not because it was in the third person.There is no historical proof that they were pen names, nor is there proof that Jesus ever existed. I don't claim any of them to be disciples.

"The author of Qur'an is not dead, cuz author of Qur'an accourding to Muslims, is God Himself." You clearly state here "ACCORDING TO"...is it not the 3rd party? Which is indirect to "God" himself. There is no proof of any religious documents, not to mention if there were original texts written the authors that wrote them are long deceased, therefore cannot confirm these "so-called" truthful documents. the guy speaking has some interesting points but the fact is all religions are beliefs, hence why Christians talk about their faith; the Bible, Qu'ran (apologies if I spelt it wrong) the texts for other religions too there is no way to prove for definate that either is 100% true because the authors are all dead.

No, Quran was indeed written at the time of Muhammad PBUH. It was written on different sheets of leather, bones, leaves etc. (as there was no paper available).
Also, you need to understand that the whole Quran was remembered by hundreds of Muslims at that time, a very common thing among Muslims today that millions of Muslims remember it whole, word by word, so nobody can dare to change it.

As someone who has rejected all organised religion I feel I can reply to this objectively.
The speaker is playing to the audience.
He urges people to learn history and yet declines to tell the audience the historical facts.
To sign something "according to" was the etiquette of the day (yours sincerely, best regards etc) and he also conviently forgets to mention that family names were not established in that that time period, they became commonplace centuries later.

They signed off "according to" because that was their way at that time not because it was in the third person.There is no historical proof that they were pen names, nor is there proof that Jesus ever existed. I don't claim any of them to be disciples.
He also makes a big thing of them not using their second names and then by using Paul's earlier name (which used a birth place to differentiate Saul from other Sauls in Roman employment) he shows that second names had not yet been established.

The fact that it cannot say or prove that the writers of the New testiment were not given the word of God to write those gospels.

I can't really denie the Injeel (Gospel) and Torah. I am glad to be a Muslim. Inshallah. I know in the 3rd Sura it says that people of The Book (The Bible) are going to distort THE WORD! That is why God sent the "Recite".... And Why??? So that the Word would not be distort.... It needs to be keeped in Arabic. Like the Jews keep the Torah in Hebrew. The first line of the Muhammadan creed includes the words "Muhammad is His messenger". Besides, many Muhammadans take their prophet as a sort of role model: he was allegedly extraordinarily wise, just, courageous, friendly etc. So that's why in the West traditionally Islam was called Muhammadanism. I love Jesus. As a Muslim I believe that Jesus was the Messiah with a divine message and worship the God that Jesus Worshipped of the Old Testament. But his memory/attributes were sadly distorted by the Roman empire with their pagan beliefs to suit big conversion plans. But as you should clearly see 4 yourself; Society, Modern English language & the Church have had too much influence on what todays Bible has become. Therefore we can't see it as Gods pure words. I am sorry, but this man is fairly ignorant - his dating of the Gospels is off - Matthew and John were both Apostles of Jesus.
What is it about a faith that is preached against anothers' beliefs rather than expressing their own faith.
All very simplisitic and amusing but not in anyway scholarly.
Also, The Church Fathers did not say anything of what this gentleman said.

Where are his scholarly references - to whom does he turn to prove that Matthew and John were not disciples of Jesus?
His remarks about Saul of Tarsus being a 'bounty hunter' of Christians, whilst inelegant, is correct and the basis of the the 'Road to Damascus' story - the persecutor become the Apostle - not only never denied by Scripture, but emphasised by Paul.
To compare him to Hitler is foolish scholarship and over-eggs the argument to no good purpose.

The gentleman assumes that Christianity could not be true because he thought that by trying to discredit the authors of the NT Gospels [Matthew, Mark, Luke and John], his case might sell to simpletons. He assumes that discrediting the authors could be established on such assumptions as that none of the Gospel writers could ever 'knew' nor 'walked' nor 'ate' nor 'talked with' nor 'met' Jesus!

if u dig down u can see many discrepancies in the bible itself. how can u call that words from GOD, the book which was written by dozen of others who wrote it 5-700 years after Jesus' death. Not while he was alive when he can correct them if they made mistakes.If u r so good wif theology then tell me how Jesus was conceived and how he was born. Thanks

No, Quran was indeed written at the time of Muhammad PBUH. It was written on different sheets of leather, bones, leaves etc. (as there was no paper available).
Also, you need to understand that the whole Quran was remembered by hundreds of Muslims at that time, a very common thing among Muslims today that millions of Muslims remember it whole, word by word, so nobody can dare to change it.
There is "Asool Ahadith" (Principles of Hadith Varifications). Go read that.

The Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) during his time. All the verses were sent to the Prophet pbuh by God through Angel Gibrael a.s and memorised by the Prophet, which he revealed to the public.
Hadiths are the traditions of the Prophet such as: his sayings, his actions etc which were recorded during and after he passed away. Hadiths are categorised as strong or weak depending on their reliability. So if any Hadith goes against the Quran then its unreliable

He was on his way to Jerusalem to arrest Christens and take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. Not Rome as you passionately stated in your speech "Acts 9:2".
He wrote 14 letters and towards the end of his life on earth, he was in a roman jail.

St. Paul was not a "Bounty Hunter" as you claimed. He was a "Pharisee"
Pharisee mean as written in the Longman dictionary:
1 the Pharisees [plural] a group of Jews who lived at the time of Christ and who believed in strictly obeying religious laws
2 [countable] someone who pretends to be religious or morally good, but who is not sincere

I fully understand what a person feels if he comes to know something opposite to what he had been believing all his life. So I understand and acknowledge that you might feel offended. But there is a response video available(below my video), that video is an academic lecture by a non Muslim Professor, the head of department of religious studies at University of North Carolina.
