  • Thank you for this recipe! Pav bhaji turned out really tasty with this recipe. loved ur show in India and now loving ur you tube channel in Canada. One question: Is green pepper (capsicum) to be boiled before adding? I boiled it with sweet peas but did not mash it.

  • You can boil the vegetables before adding to that mashing becomes easy.

so please boil your green peace and then add into the mixture.

  • Really nice, but which Pav Bhaji masala did you use, Mr.Sanjeev?

  • We have our own blended masalas. You can also use any other brand that is easily available.

  • looks a bit too soupy and liquidy, nice music though..

  • The bhaji is supposed to be a little

'soupy' because you dip the bread in it.

  • This is not Authentic Pav Bhaji recipe it is not made like that, this was not expected from great Chef like Sanjjev Kapoor you must had at least visted one of the Pavbhaji stall at Zoo beach or some were else. Sorry.

  • There are different ways of preparing a particular dish. Most importantly the end result should be good. I myself make pav bhaji in different ways. Why don't try it out making it this way and see if you like it?

  • Fantastic snack! Thanks chef!!One question though: the tomato puree is it the one we normally get in tins(paste) or is it fresh tomatoes pureed?

  • Thanks for your appreciative comments. It is best to use fresh tomato pure.
