My December is one of the few contemporary albums where ALL the songs are awesome. It's not one of those albums that has one or two "hit-worthy" tracks, and the rest is just filler. It's unfortunate this album wasn't better promoted.
This is one of the most underrated songs I have ever heard. This song is absolutely amazing. I keep listening to it, and it never gets old. The words are still powerful after all these times hearing them.
IMO this is defnitely one of the better sons on the album. I just wish there would have been more of a build up to the chorus, and then an emphasis on the guitar during the chorus as well. It was like wanting someone to scream from the top of their lungs, but they hold back for some reason...still liked the song though ;)

This. Song. Proves how talented Kelly is. The critics were not right in the head for saying this album was bad; the record label were dingbats for trying to change this album. It's a beautiful album. The only song I'd say isn't as good would be "How I Feel" because it doesn't sound as dark as the others which I like in this album. Kelly has a true talent for singing and songwriting and is a credit to society with her amazing ability :D

I can relate to this song. My friend last Sunday ( a week a go) overdosed on her medications. It's hard, but she was in a lot of physical/ psychological pain. She had Uterine Cancer, and was so positive even though she suffered daily. She was so positive so her committing suicide was a shock. This song hits right to home! I love Kelly Clarkson I own ALL her CD's. She is so amazing!

I think its okay, actually, to make a reference to Twilight. It's so hard to find YnM fans! I would think it would be more popular cause it's so freakin' good! Japanese cast for it was awesome. The English cast made me lol a lot! But, I did really like Dan Green as Tsuzuki! ..I have a Dan Green bias.. I liked most of the characters in YnM. It's a really enjoyable series.

It amazes me how so young an artist could write these lyrics. Her lyrics are so true about depressed people who commit suicide. And this person was a friend. It's very often that the family and friends are also victims of this horrible event. Mostly feeling guilt because they couldn't recognize the signs. It's an amazing song. Her "My December" CD is so her. Everytime I hear "Maybe" I ,cry. And if you watch her after she sings that song, she does too.

I think its okay, actually, to make a reference to Twilight. We should be able to say that the song's message is familiar with the new moon story line just as much as you're able to say that the song is good. It's so hard to find YnM fans! I would think it would be more popular cause it's so freakin' good! Japanese cast for it was awesome. The English cast made me lol a lot! But, I did really like Dan Green as Tsuzuki! ..I have a Dan Green bias.. I liked most of the characters in YnM. It's a really enjoyable series.

It amazes me how so young an artist could write these lyrics. Her lyrics are so true about depressed people who commit suicide. And this person was a friend. It's very often that the family and friends are also victims of this horrible event. Mostly feeling guilt because they couldn't recognize the signs. It's an amazing song. Her "My December" CD is so her. Everytime I hear "Maybe" I ,cry. And if you watch her after she sings that song, she does too.

@vampireloverml Yeah, they are amazing books~probably the best contemporary vampire series out right now :D Unfortunately they're going to be making movies of the books now, so definitely read them before they get utterly mutilated by cursed Hollywood :(

this song always gets me. and its for a good reason. i have it dedicated to my dad who left me when i was 2, my grandpa who died before i was done with my first year of highschool, a really great friend i havent seen since i was like 12, and a friend i recently lost... those of you who think this is a damn twilight song your wrong, she wrote this for one of her best friends who was killed in a car crash.

You know I listen to this song a lot and I have one thing to say to the people who thinks this applies to Bella and Edward IT DOES NOT APPLY TO THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so sick of all my favorite songs one person has to say, "It fits Edward and Bella so much." Well I've got news for you, they don't! This is a good song btw.

i love twilight, but honestly it gets kind of annoying when people start saying oh this is about twilight because it realates to the books. this is a song about kelly clarkson, not edward and bella. no offence to anyone!
